Excellent experience

Due to my error my membership with the British Institute of Cleaning Science lapsed. When i phoned I got thorough to a very helpful staff member who sorted my problem straight away. Sending all the required documents to renew my membership straight to my email.Brilliant

I am not sure on whether BICS works for non members or benefit non members somehow. I am not sure if there is an obligation for them to attend people and business that have not entered into membership since I have requested their support and still awaiting for feedback. Anyway, they hold a very profitable and unique rule in the business and think because of this their responsibility to clarify questions should be extended to the general public and small business, even with some limitation or there should be a public funded authority to whom we could direct our queries. Not sure on how to rate BICS regarding to their value but this rating is regarding to how BICS made me feel, as we have no other option to have a small care and queries clarified without paying something.

I've have 30 years experience in the cleaning industry but coming from a catering background of five years and I'm very good at each and every role I've taken over the years.I'm fed up hearing I'm bic trained from other colleagues when clearly they haven't a clue and using toilet cleaner to clean sinks ect ect but they have certificate's and a badge to state they are bic trained!!!!..another clear rip off qualification charging willy and nilly to prove they are something they are not!..the only way to learn any role in this industry and any other is work experience and a reference from each employer clear of all exams asked of you before bics and do not pay to prove your worth.. it's another government scheme once again but people are paying the price to get work.. ashamed robbing government and over
