Forbidden Planet International

Not somewhere I visit often, if I'm honest, it is a specialist shop, and I went on a whim, so glad I did picked up exactly what my husband wanted but couldn't find in other websites/retailers. Good shop for browsing and reasonably priced

It's an awesome little shop, just a little on the cramped side. Well worth the visit, but if it's busy, come back a little later when it's emptied out a bit

Then check out Forbidden Planet Sheffield!Tucked away down a little back street of Sheffield city centre, Forbidden Planet have managed to cram in so much geeky goodness into such a tiny space, it’s absolutely incredible! On a corner plot, this little shop manages to have two whole aisles of comic books, T-shirts, models/figurines, mugs, key rings, pins, and other collectibles.Featuring brands such as POP! Vinyls, D.C., Marvel, 2000 A.D., Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and many more, Forbidden Planet caters to most of geekdom. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, offering decent prices and service with a smile. We visit pretty much every time we’re in the city centre, and usually find something to buy.The only real improvement would be to have a wider selection of products, but that would mean either 1) less space in this tiny shop, or 2) moving to larger premises.

Got manga 2+ weeks before the release, and 3for2 on manga is awesome

Good variety of comics and the staff was really nice in helping me choose which one to buy . And told me a lot of new things about the author which I hadn't known ! You can tell these guys are passionate about what they do which is lovely I will definitely be coming back

Always love to go in here. They have a large selection of manga and graphic novels. As a manga lover, you really can’t go wrong in here. A lot of great collectibles like anime figurines, plushies and they have a section for whatever new comic, manga, graphic novel has come out this month! There’s also shirts from pop culture for very affordable prices!

A it on the small side as far as forbidden planet shops are, but still chock full of geeky goodness and plenty of helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff around to help you out and discuss the latest fandom with.
