The Nags Head
Today we met friends st the Nags Head for lunch, first time vist there. We had coffee then we ordered our meal, fish and chips good, ribs good, carvery wasn't very hot at all veg was warm and liver and bacon looked nice but when halfway through noticed it was raw in middle of liver. We ordered deserts but after 17mins they hadn't arrived so cancelled them . Decor nice but service could have been better

WOW! The Crispy Chilli Beef was amazing. You have to try it. It’s huge as a starter so I’ve no idea how big the main is. It’s a family favourite and beats any Chinese I’ve ever been to. Service was great and other meals were delicious but I looked in envy at my sons choice.

First time here and thoroughly enjoyed the carvery and atmosphere. Food was good, hot and tasty. The carvery was amazing with lots of various vegetables and meats. Great atmosphere in the bar adjoining it. Good price.

Good traditional pub with a nice looking food option (didn't try). Beer prices very steep compared to others locally - 2 pints cost well over £12. Won't be back, but only because of the beer prices and there are other equally attractive options nearby.

The Sunday roast is amazing, definitely the best I've had. The beef is delicious, and the gentleman at the Carvery was very friendly. Highly recommend The Nags Head.

Had lunch for a special occasion with family. Lovely food. All cooked freshly to order so service a bit slow, but would recommend

The Nags Head
We stayed at The Nags Head for one night and had a full English breakfast in the morning.PROS: friendly staff, quaint old building, traditional Inn experience with rooms above restaurant, great location, good foodCONS: had to pay for parking, room had a very strong unpleasant odors, spoons and glasses in the room were dirty.

Traditional pub, cosy bar with great atmosphere and a very good choice of beers. Spacious lounge with large screen to watch live sport. Good menu with excellent carvery esp. Sunday roasts. Nicely refurbished beer garden. Friendly staff. I would recommend.
