Steve Hillman

I have worked with Steve on numerous occasions whilst entertaining at weddings, he is a great photographer who produces fantastic results but more importantly is a great person. My advice to anyone booking a photographer is to book someone that they would be happy to invite to the wedding as a guest. You will spend more time with your photographer than many of your guests and so it is important that you get on with them. I would not hesitate in recommending Steve on both a personal and professional level so book with confidence!

When we booked our wedding in Autumn 2022, I was adamant that I wanted Steve as our photographer! Having attended several weddings with Steve as a photographer, I have always loved his photos and the way he captures the love and joy of a wedding day.After working with Steve during our wedding day in October 2023, he certainly didn't disappoint!Steve met with us before the wedding to run through any shots we would like and to explain the timings of the wedding day. As he has worked in the local wedding industry for a number of years, Steve had already worked closely with our venue (Abbey House Hotel and Gardens) and Bob Toastmaster, so we knew we were in good hands.On the morning of the wedding, Steve was on hand to give general advice about the day, as well as taking gorgeous photographs. He had come prepared with ideas for fun shots for later in the day and was happy to take guest portraits in between our official photographs.Steve also worked really well with our videographer, Jura Wedding Films, and other suppliers on the day.We are so happy with the final edit, which arrived 2 weeks after our wedding day. Steve's photos perfectly capture the precious memories of our special day.Thank you so much Steve x

We booked Steve as our photographer for our wedding on 28th October this year, after a recommendation. We will be forever grateful for that recommendation.From the start Steve was prompt with his email replies to any of our questions or queries, and put our minds at ease. Our wedding was a fair distance from our home, so it wasn't possible to meet with Steve beforehand, this did not faze Steve, we had an in-depth phone call before our big day to ensure everything was organised, and no detail was missed.Steve had not been to our venue before, so he made the effort to scope out the area beforehand, and arrived early on our wedding day to pick out the best areas for shots!Steve and his wonderful daughter (his helper for the day) made us feel completely relaxed. They were a dynamic team who made sure even small details and moments we may have missed were captured.Our day was a very chilled and natural vibe, and Steve captured this to a tee. He captured all the sort of shots we wanted and more! The formal photographs with family and friends took no time at all, it was incredibly efficient! Steve's prompts and hints for certain photos like cake cutting were warmly received!We also really appreciated the time Steve took to get us away from our guests for a few moments to capture some couple shots, this gave us time to reflect on our day, as well as getting a few moments alone together, which was extra special.Once the day was over Steve shared a few sneak peak photos which made us even more excited to see the rest! Steve was prompt sending the rest of our photos across, within a matter of weeks after.All we can say is thank you Steve (and Rosie)!From Ev & Rob.

Steve had come highly recommended to me for his wedding photography and we are forever grateful we chose him to capture our special day. Steve was both friendly and professional, really listened to what we wanted from our day and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Our finished photographs and accompanying DVD were fantastic and never fail to make me emotional when we watch back through them. I have attended many weddings and events, following my own wedding, that Steve has photographed and everyone has always commented how great he is and what a brilliant service he offers. As well as being a great photographer, Steve is a genuine lovely guy, and I would absolutely recommend to anyone to have him as part of their special day.

Couldn't recommend Steve highly enough! I'm not a fan of having my photo taken, but Steve put myself and Russell at ease from the start. Steve's inconspicuous way of taking photos in the ceremony meant we were barely aware he was even there and were able to feel relaxed as he captured our day. The 'formal' family and group photos were done quickly and very efficiently meaning everyone could enjoy the whole day and not be waiting around for photos to be done. We loved looking through the photos and seeing moments that were captured that we never saw on the day and we love some of the creative shots of the tables and flowers too. Thank you so much!

Steve was our wedding photographer at our small registry office wedding , there was 7 of us. He was prompt , friendly , professional and nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel like our Special Day was as important as if we had 300 guests . The photographs were promptly edited and sent to us and are absolutely stunning . We wouldn't hesitate to use his services again and would highly recommend him whatever the occasion :)

Steve was our wedding photographer recently and we couldn't of picked anyone more suited to our style. We wanted a laid back fun day and that was what we got. Steve captured everything perfectly as well as helping the grooms party with buttonholes alongside directing everything without it feeling intrusive. He put us and our guests totally at ease as well as having a few laughs along the way. Amazing photographer and a lovely personality to go with it. We hired Steve as our wedding photographer after meeting him at a wedding fayre. I had followed his page on Facebook for years as he had previously photographed my cousins wedding and I’d always admired his natural editing style. Steve kept in contact throughout the booking process and contacted a few weeks before the wedding to discuss our requirements for the day. On the wedding day Steve was very professional and kept us relaxed with his friendly attitude. We were nervous as neither of us are particularly fond of the camera but kept us at ease.We are so pleased with the beautiful photos from our wedding, natural and not overly posed just how we wanted.
