Fortune Manor Chinese Takeaway

Every Time we order from here on Just Eat it's cancelled with no phone call or anything. Foods good but if you live in coundon don't bother.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight and I felt compelled to share my experience across any review platform I could find.I usually order from jade palace or golden dragon. Unfortunately the food from fortune manor was awful. The salt and chilli squid tasted like it had been reheated from the day before, the batter on it looked stodgy and old. The chowmein had a very strange taste to it and even the chips seemed like they had been reheated in the microwave from being cooked three days prior. I have never had bad chips from a Chinese takeaway before but these were just bad.The only thing that was quite tasty was the curry sauce from the duck curry I ordered. Unfortunately the actual duck meat in the curry tasted horrendous aswell. All in all it was a horrible meal and 5 minutes into eating, my wife and I threw the whole thing in the bin and decided to leave the review. It wasn’t the worst food I’ve had but it is the worst Chinese takeout food I have ever had. Their kitchen needs SERIOUS work and I suspect a great deal of the food to be reheated from either earlier in the day or earlier in the week. I do hope I won’t be sick from this as I still ate some of the food as to not be a total waste of money. But it didn’t taste rancid, just plain bad. I will never order from here again and will advise anyone I know to avoid the place like the plague.

Great food one of the best Chinese takeaways in Coventry

We've been struggling to find a Chinese takeaway that works for us lately, but Fortune Manor is fantastic. Food is delicious, prices are reasonable and the customer service is top notch. Will absolutely be ordering again soon.Top marks for the salt and chilli chips, and it was great to see vegetarian Singapore rice on the menu.

Great food, one of my regulars

I've used this takeaway for years. I don't know if it has changed hands recently but the quality of food I had tonight was nowhere near as good as it was the last time I ordered a month ago. I had a set meal and it had a very bland taste I was very shocked when I tasted it it was nowhere near as good a quality I remember. I will give it another go if it hasn't improved I will not order again. I orderd on the food hub. Last time it was just eat I don't know if that makes any difference.

Not many places round here do seaweed so that is a huge plus for me.

I decided to give Fortune Manor a go when my usual Chinese was closed .I liked it so much iv ordered from there several weeks on the trot.The delivery has been early every time.The food has been piping hot and delicious.Its now one of my favourite takeaways .
