Caldey Island is a little piece of paradise. We took a boat trip over from Tenby and had a wonderful few hours exploring the island. We walked the island in about 2 hours, although we walk quickly. The landscape is stunning with crystal beaches and high cliffs. The light house was literally surrounded by swallows, which is something I’ve never seen before. The abbey village is very pretty and the shops are responsibly priced. There is a cafe but we took a picnic, and I’m pleased we did as the queue was very long. Some areas of the island were closed due to Covid but this is to be expected at the moment. The church’s and areas which were open are worth a visit, don’t forget to find the watch tower which is hidden away. The boat trip over took about 20 minutes and gives you great views of Tenby.I highly recommend a visit.

It would seem that chocolate and fudge production on Caldey Island has ceased. The chocolate factory was all closed up when we visited recently and even the sign was gone. Not sure what has happened but very disappointing.

Really beautiful, a very fun afternoon, great for a good walk and lovely views of the ocean and looking back at Tenby. We saw red squirrels right by the tea rooms. I hight recommend both the the forest walk and the cliff walk. The chocolate factory is limited due to Covid but still very interesting chat with the staff explaining the process. The chocolate is delicious. The boat trip took about 20 mins and ran very frequently. Last boat back at 5.30pm.

Fantastic island. Really really beautiful views and lovely walks all around. Feel like you're in your own little world. Would recommend early morning when there are beautiful walks and stunning beaches just for you. Literally noone else there. First boat leaves at 9 I think, so get the ticket before then and be on the beach by 9. Very worth it on a nice day.

What a beautiful island. Arrived in the rain and then the sun came out. Lost in time, we walked the walks outlined on the island leaflet. The most beautiful golden sands beach. Take a picnic and enjoy an old fashioned day out.

Oh dear. Tasted terrible. Nothing like the fabulous creamy taste it used to be. Tasted cheap and badly manufactured. Very disappointing. Looks like the monks have sold out!

Peaceful, cut off from modern distractions and if you fancy some chocolate there is a factory you can purchase from. There is only a handful of places to see here, me and my partner visited recently. It was good to see but not somewhere to bring easily bored parties because there is nothing else apart from peace and quiet. The boat ride is nice and takes twenty minutes.

Cracking place. Great couples of hours wandering around, seeing the sights and learning the history. If you're in Tenby it's well worth the short boat trip. Tickets can be bought at a kiosk in the harbour
