Most unfriendly and unwelcoming place I’ve ever walked into. On entering, and looking for a friend who I thought had already walked in, I was abruptly told “toilets are for customers only” by a butch female bar worker (assuming gender sorry). I didn’t even need the toilet or go anywhere near it. A group of us were going to head in for lunch and a drink. Their loss, plenty of other places for a bite to eat.

Says that it is dog friendly. When we got inside,it was about six o'clock was told have to leave at 6:45 with the dog, because it is karaoke night.Wouldn't mind but our sausage dog is a great singer.Don't bother very unfriendly.

Great place, fantastic atmosphere and the bar staff are very pleasant. James the owner is extremely friendly and always gives a warm reception upon arrival. Bob who does the Karaoke is great at handling the decks and is very helpful.

Helpful staff. I have two Autistic daughters and the staff were so kind to them and all my oldest daughter wanted was porridge. They catered for her needs. Highly recommended

They are dog friendly, but not in the evening on karaoke nights. Makes sense it's too busy for a puppy. Pub classic food and environment. Food is cash only, no card payments.

Friendly staff and great for a karaoke night. Closes early if quiet, so don't assume it's one of those bars for a quick 'one for the road'.

me and my 4 daughters walked into the pub and we were instantly singled out by a cruel bartender.i was taking them out for a nice day since they have just finished exams but this ruined our experience.the bartender continued to hurry us to pick a drink and when one of my daughters didn’t want one, he asked us to leave.also he kept looking at their behinds and laughing with his cronies.will most definitely not be coming back.i do not recommend this pub to anyone.

Awful service today. This says family friendly outside. My 4 year old sat at a table as we arrived and tapped his fork on the table (the horror) and was told off by the member of staff. Then he kicked his shoes off so he could cross his legs on the chair and was told off again for taking them off. If I’d not handed my money over I’d have walked straight out of this place. Clearly in their view children should be seen and not heard. Poor kid didn’t dare make a sound in there. Horrible staff!
