Silverton Veterinary Practice - Torquay

This year my cat has decided he liked fighting, was going to the vets monthly with open wounds etc, and then in sept /October he had a really bad fight and was in a bad way.The receptionist Sue in the Torquay practice was always helpful ,supportive and worth her weight in gold, I wouldn't have coped without her and her advice always at the end of the phone and never felt anything was to much for her. Lily is the bestest vet and I know my little man will always be in good hands ,he's as comfortable with her as he is at home with us. I would always recommend the practice to friends and family ,they go above and beyond in their jobs and for that I am grateful, as without them I don't think I would have my boy sat here on my lap while I am writing this . Thank you , and keep up the fantastic work .

Friendly efficient staff been going to Silverton for years and wouldn't want to go anywhere else

Not competitive on pricing compared to Pets at Home vets. New receptionist had no desire to encourage me to stay and much friendlier service from Pets at home receptionist.Vet was excellent with my dogs initial treatment, giving lots of advice and information on different priced treatments.

First class service from start to finish.Derek the Harris hawks small operation & aftercare service was second to none & Richard & his team were fantastic.Thoroughly recommend Silvertown Vetinary practice to any falconers or birds of prey centres in and around Devon.

Very good coronavirus restrictions in place. Friendly staff very helpful and reassuring.

Very good vet and doing what they have to do during the Covid experience but the prices are just unbelievably high, are all vets this expensive?

Terrible treatment of my cat after he was run over. His jaw and head has been crushed to the point of not being able to eat or drink. I requested that he be put to sleep due to the severity of the injuries. The vet refused my wishes and kept him alive for at least 48 hours. I then took my cat to pets at home and they agreed with me and put him to sleep. I can only assume Silverton veterinary practice kept him alive for monetary gain .

On moving to Torbay in 1988 one of my priorities was to find a good local vet. The Silverton practice was recommended to me and I have been taking my much loved pets to them ever since. Firstly to their Paignton branch then Torquay where you can always be sure of a welcoming smile and some good advice.Firstly from Sue who has the most amazing memory for us all and our pets. She is both very approachable and knowledgeable but more importantly incredibly kind and understanding as are the vets who I have had the good fortune to have take care of my animals over the years.Cath and Richard are both excellent veterinarians and have a way of putting both patients and owners at ease, whatever the situation. I have changed Doctors several times through the years but never vets. I would highly recommend the Silverton Practice to anyone and everyone who wants the very best for their loyal companions.

The most worst vets I never Torquay! Please stay away from silvertons. Money grabbing no compassion for your beloved pet! All they work on is profit! Disgusting vets. Far more better also caring vets in Torquay.
