What a waste of space the cafe is, went there today asked for an all day breakfast sorry no breakfast" ok can we have 2 tuna mayo baked potatoes " sorry we don't have any tuna

Cashiers are VERY slow. There is a huge queue and theyre just having a cassual chat... This is extremely frustrating for someone like me who just wants to get their shopping snd get the hell out of there. It made me hate going shopping.

Can be awful to shop here as the ‘pickers’ are just so rude and push their way to the shelves right infront of you!!!!!! Look so miserable and bad attitude? Fruit and veg are ‘dying’ in most cases with shocking appearance and over charged on many occasions with repeat visit to queue and fight for money back!!! Answering to Gestapo at customer service desk which is always badly manned!!!!Generally run very badly

I would give 0 if I could Tesco is a disgrace when in for the first time to do a big shop I have just came back from the USA to retire with my American wife so having to buy a lot of new stuff we used the scanner to to our shopping we had over £300 worth of shopping went to check out came up for assistance so a young lady came and started scanning our stuff we it was a random scan like Asda and Sainsbury's do she not she had to scan all our items one by one I was not going to stand and wait 30 mins for her to scan everything told they could keep it all and would not shop at Tesco again I will take my business back to Asda and Sainsbury's I have my mobile phone service with Tesco pay as you go I will be going with a different company now. Tesco what is the point of the scanners I could have saved time and gone through the regular check out what a disgrace you lost a lot of business from us not only today but in the future.

Well stocked store. I used the click and collect service, which was very effective. It wasn't a marquee like in some stores, but it was a van in the car park. Friendly staff.

The cafe has taken a dive! Sullen serving staff who seem to have missed their customer service training. A 15 minute wait for a cup of tea, when only 3rd in the queue is very poor. Many tables left covered in previous customers' pots for ages and not a single one wiped down when they were finally cleared. My own cleared table was covered in tea stains. Definitely room for improvement here!

i was in your store with my husband on wednesday the 15th November and as i was going through the checkout i suddenly felt ill and have to say the two first aiders a man and woman who attended me were very good and helped me very curtius and i felt safe in there hands they even took me to our car well done to your staff.Mrs L Morrison Smith -Lower Pilsley

If I could have given no stars I would have. I go to Tescos at Alfreton generally however, sometimes I shop at the Clay Cross branch. The service is very very slow at the tills. Not enough tills open most of the time. I don't go shopping to chat just need to get my shopping.

Love the fact that there are lots of self checkouts. This means that you never have to wait behind a big trolley to pay for a few items.
