We had a lovely visit to this historic house. Enjoyed a chat with the owner.Worth a visit if you are staying at Thoresby Hall. The properties were owned by the same family in the past and the owner is happy to tell you all about this. Despite awful weather on our visit the winter garden was really beautiful. Gorgeous display of snowdrops and other early flowers.

We got married here in July and it was amazing! It is literally the best wedding venue - BEAUTIFUL gardens, historic and lots of space. Robert and Charlotte are amazing hosts and we can not thank them enough. Can not wait to come back and visit for the snowdrops in the new year!

Beautiful setting for a wedding. Gorgeous grounds and lovely rooms so that there could be dancing in one, talking in another. A family home which is a privilege to use, and the oldest brick built building in Nottingham. You can visit the grounds or garden only. Heartily recommend seeing the snowdrops in February and gardens at other times of the year.

Went to see the gardens and in particular the snowdrops. Reasonably priced at £5, although they can only take cash payments. The gardens are not large and there is a trail set out that takes you through them and on to the woodland area, which was a mass of snowdrops. Dogs allowed on leads. I would definitely go again and look round the house as well

We held a beautiful wedding here. The owners were super organised, communicative, and helped it run seamlessly. We were worried about the temperature of such a huge old building but it was toasty warm all day.Our day couldn't have been more magical. We even had a shooting star! Xx

Visited the gardens to view the snowdrops in season. The gardens were very well tended and the snowdrops plentiful and beautiful. Also an abundance of these lovely flowers in the woods. Thoroughly enjoyed our tranquil walk.

A beautiful and well maintained garden that I'm sure looks superb through the seasons. The house is magnificent, but I'm pleased not to have the heating bills.

Beautiful snopdrop woods.£5 entrance fee for adultsMissed the turning on the road as cyclists were in front of the banner that says 'gardens open'. Ended up going down a dreadfully potholed mud track and then had to come all the way back down it as we couldn't see another way round. Car survived, but won't miss the turning next time!!

We visited the house as part of the spring snowdrop opening. We loved being able to walk the house alone. It's fascinating. We were staying at the nearby Thoresby Hall and really appreciated the connection between the properties in fact it gave a depth of history to Thoresby Hall which is difficult to understand with just Warner Hotel interpretation of events. Holme Pierrepoint Hall is mainly an exclusive wedding venue now. Loved our visit.
