I went in yesterday for a double appointment with myself and my daughter. She was having a very bad terrible twos day and was generally being difficult. I want to praise the staff for being absolutely amazing. They were so patient with her, involved her in the tests to keep her busy and provided colouring and pencils. They went above and beyond their job and helped a very stressed mum out.

All the staff were friendly and professional, service was good. But the space and the customer experience was bewildering, they usher you from waiting area to waiting area in some kind of conveyor belt of different staff, which I'm sure is very optimal in terms of waiting times but felt very impersonal. Again I should emphasise this is nothing to do with the staff, who were great, just the design of the shop and the customer flow.I think this was partly as it was a busy Saturday morning, so perhaps you may have a better experience when it's quiet.

Excellent service . Took just over an hour to get in, full eye tests , consultant, glasses sizing than home again . That's with loads of customers in the shop . Very professional, and there is always a staff member available in the shop, even if the shop looks full of customers. I speak for myself and I thoroughly enjoyed the service and my new glasses . Thank you .

Excellent eye test had to change frames as had an allergy to them no trouble they changed them very satisfied with all assistants who helped to get right frames

Service good. Only bug bare is having to pay additional for OCT scan which can detect issues upto 4 years early. If you don’t have this or pay for it does it mean the optician is happy for you to walk out with a potential eye issue? Duty of care is poor in that respect. Not the best.

Lovely staff; always smiling and don't rush you.Opticians of high standard; very professional and explain everything.Referral to hospital made that day by Optician, but I wasn't made to feel worried.Definitely recommend regular eye tests at Specsavers to ensure not just your eyesight, but good health in many other areas.Spectacles are not too expensive either. Specsavers own glasses are really nice.
