We were recommended Active (specifically John) as our mortgage advisor by family and I do not regret going ahead. John explained everything in detail to us as first time buyers including what the expect and potential time scales. Although we were an “easy case” Covid meant that many lenders were limiting their offerings. Regardless of this John found us a mortgage, and did the full application within 1 day (as the lender only had the product available for 24 hours!). Since then John has remained in contact and regularly touched base with us to understand where we were with the purchase. I would definitely recommend John to anyone looking to purchase a mortgage!

Excellent professional service received from John Aikman, he took the time to understand my situation and provided me with the facts that I required to successfully complete my new mortgage application and also save money on my buy to let mortgage.
