Oldham Crematorium Within Hollinwood Cemetery

OMBC should catch up with the times, recently had a funeral for a close relative. When we booked the funeral we opted for the webcast option so relatives who were working could watch it. It wasn't until after the service when some complained they couldn't get it to work that we found it is only a Live stream. Other crems we've seen & been to you can watch it for a few weeks later online or even get a DVD. So family members have missed the funeral and have no way of seeing it now. OMBC need sort their act out and update their setup, its not that difficult to offer this. Not happy!

Terrible on entry told to hurry up because they were running late how Distrespectful wasn't our fault mourners before our entrance were running late. Will not send anymore of our relatives here. Was informed we should have booked an hour. TERRIBLE

I've been coming to this cemetery for many years now. (Personal to me but I come alot ) The office at the entrance is always helpful and friendly. And the grounds itself is beautiful. It's well maintained. The graves are maintained very well. The gardeners do a wonderful job here. Thankyou.

Absolutely disgusted and will never ever use the service again will be reporting members of staff for them to write a review on our funeral directors page as if it come from our family has absolutely sickened our family sending my family members coffin back ssting he's to big for them when it clearly wasn't I will be taking this matter further with Oldham council the local mp and the local papers it's an absolute disgrace how our family was treated and how the funeral directors where treated!!!!

Chris Henthorn was the celebrant and he did an amazing job, the service was lovely and a fitting tribute.

Obviously the reasons for attending the crematorium aren't pleasant, however, the crematorium itself is set up accordingly, catered to the needs/wants/likes etc of each individual family and the ceremonies are undertaken with respect, dignity and professionalism.
