Chris and his guys have been cutting our hedges/trees for almost 10 years now - always a great/professional job and tidy afterwards!

Being a self employed gardener I am sometimes asked to prune or fell/ remove large trees or hedges. When it's above my safe skill level I have no hesitation in recommending Chris to my customers.Please don't compare a trained tree surgeon with the multitude of Facebook warriors offering tree services the same day. Chris has not only the right equipment but the right staff to get the job done, safely and effectively.

Chris was recommended by a friend who is a landscape gardener, he gave a price to take about a third off the top of six huge conifers at the back of our garden. The price was fine, and when my neighbour expressed an interest in getting his done at the same time Chris gave an unprompted discount.Arrived at half eight with a team of guys, all the gear, really professional, and left the place spotless.Clearly the other review isn't talking about the same guy.

Professional and with a courteous team Chris done a fantastic job at a competitive price. His knowledge shone through as we discussed options for the garden and he left the place spotless. I thoroughly recommend this first class tree surgeon and will definitely have him back.

I had to wait a month before he was free. I believed that we had agreed what I’d required. This was tree pruning. He arrived on time, but alone. He was at my house for approx an hour and a half and charged £400. I had asked that sufficient coverage to be removed from the trees to allow no shadows or significantly minimise. I did inspect his work and thought it wouldn’t do the job, but gave him the benefit of the doubt as he was the expert. The first sunny day we got I realised that the outcome I’d asked for was not achieved. I got in touch and he albeit refused to rectify it. I then asked for a refund of some of the amount. He has refused. I don’t know if this is relevant, but I’m a single female living alone. I would not recommend this guy, not least of which was his attitude post being paid .

Chris and his team removed some very old trees for my parents and they were absolutely delighted with the service. They were efficient and friendly and tidied up after themselves. They wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.
