National Windscreens Huddersfield

Contacted for screen replacement through insurance company, on my Mercedes Benz Sprinter van, extra tall. Windscreen was replaced, but 2 days later (van was parked from wednesday when it was replaced, to friday evening when it was driven) a stress crack was noticed on the top end of the windscreen, above drivers seat, of about 10 inches. Contacted to have it replaced again, arranged technicians visit for a week later, after a few delays and them saying they tried reaching us but would not get an answer, although our phones are manned 24/7. When technicians called, they had already inspected the vehicle which was parked in the street, and without even greeting me informed me they would not replace it again unless I paid the insurance excess again, as there are 2 chips on it. There were no chips on the windscreen beforehand, as witnessed by 4 people, who inspected it, finding it odd that it cracked so shortly after being replaced, and that the crack itself was on the top extremity of the windscreen, and there was no apparent chip or signs of damage, just a stress crack. But two technicians arrive, and out of the blue there are 2 chips on the crack, 4mm apart from each other, and they look to be made with foreign objects, and the only way to have it fixed is to pay again. Scammers, money grabbers, and property damagers! Also rude technicians, it was obvious all they wanted was to go watch the World Cup.

Had a windscreen replaced (RS6) and recently noticed water dripping behind A pillar. Rang this morning and Ian got me in straight away. One of the installers spent alot of time diagnosing the issue. It turns out the windscreen was not at fault but the drain for the pan roof. I have managed to strip and sort the problem. Wouldn't have known if it wasn't for the fantastic advice and guidance. Really appreciated guys.

Don't go anywhere else; these guys came to my home and repaired my windscreen which was damaged by a stone chip; there was a slight fault with the repair; they very quickly arranged to come again and sort it. Excellent service.

Absolutely brilliant , had a broken quarter light on my van , I drove into their Huddersfield depot around 09:30 by 16:00 their engineer had left my drive with the vehicle back secure , superb service considering the Xmas period

I had a good experience with their organized and timely service in their location as I preferred to go there because of the rainy weather. It only took more than a hour to install an new front windscreen on my car. I could barely smell the glue for a couple of hours afterwards. So it is really a good thing to have windscreen replacement in your insurance policy.

We had to wait quite a while for the windscreen needed to be available but after that all arrangements went well and staff polite and efficient. Not much to do around whilst waiting but I was helpfully directed to a nearby asda with a Cafe.

They came to fix a windscreen, fitted a windscreen and there cracked it,Before they fitted it, they didn’t even tell me they cracked the windscreen, but instead, they fitted it to the car then after the first one was fitted another 2 cracked in transport and I rang up first time to ask what’s going on and the manager was so rude I would never use this company again.
