Needs closed , carnt get a doctor. Receptionists just want to argue with you. Poorly and carnt be bothered arguing with rude staff.

Today I have rang the surgery over 30 times started at 8am and eventually got through at 11.40am for an appointment for my daughter either in the surgery or a telephone appointment just to be told there isn’t any and ring choc tonight after 6.30. I understand Dr surgeries are busy but over 3 hours to get through one of the times I stayed on the phone half and hour and still no one answered it! I wonder if someone had picked the phone up at 8am this morning my daughter might have got an appointment?

Phoned up and had the phone put down on me. Called back and got an answer from a rude receptionist, who wasn't interested atall. Got an emergency appointment for my 3 year old daughter about her eye, Took her in and the doctor was about as useful as a chocolate teapot. She has a lump on her eyelid ( blocked gland) and he said well

Managed to get through on the phone fairly quickly to get an appointment, which was a novelty. Reception staff were very polite and helpful. the nurse who examined me was pleasant, thorough and gave good advice.

Ordered medication as I always do with pharmacy2u on the 7th of August 2023. Still waiting for my Dr to issue them with the prescription and it is the 18th of August. Rang reception and they said they would issue a fast tracked prescription tomorrow but they are closed. I have 1 losartan left for the morning. It is a blood pressure tablet and if you stop taking them your blood pressure will go straight back up according to the chemist. They were asked to issue 10 days early because it can take upto 10 days to recieve my meds from pharmacy2u. This is only the 2nd time I have had this problem but as my primary care giver it is a disgrace. Good job I'm not needing something that could save my life. Oh wait.... yeah, my BP meds.

I have tried getting intouch with the surgery numerous times on Friday and today. I was in a RTC and have recently came out of hospital with severe injuries, trying to get my prescription of this surgery is actually a challenge. There will be many people in PAIN for various reasons.Whoever is running this surgery I think you need to get your self another job as your doing a terrible job at the moment.Overall the worst GP in Carlisle without a shadow of a doubt.When is this surgery going to improve ????

Utterly rude staff. Asked a simple question about a vaccination and was told “can’t come here, go pay at boots” asked why my own GP refused to give me a vaccination which is free on NHS and was told “go get a new GP then”

An absolutely terrible practice, I joined initially out of requiring a new surgery fast after moving across country and I've had nothing but trouble, always being assured I'd get call backs from the surgery with information and dates I need only to have to chase it up almost daily after weeks of hearing nothing, some of the receptionists can be quite blunt and rude towards not only myself but to others ive overheard when ive been into the surgery, getting an appointment is an absolute nightmare even though the place has for the most part usually near empty when I've been in to chase up requests. Avoid at all costs, I should have read other peoples reviews before joining but I was in a hurry at the time and this was the closest to my new address. I WILL be moving practice as soon as they eventually sort out this serious enquiry I've been trying to sort with them for a couple weeks now, it should only take a few minutes to discuss it with a doctor and contact me back but I just keep getting we will call you back with the information you need either today or tomorrow" only to be left weeks and have to chase them up for it. Ridiculous practice!"

My dad has to have a p.s.a test done every 6 months so first he tried phoning them and he could not get through to them so he went to the practice and was told the computer was down, so they took he's details and said that they would call him about a appointment, this was at 8am, at 1pm they still had not phoned back, so again my dad went up to the practice and was there wasn't any available and again they said that they would phone him .which I will be very surprised if they did. I mean how long does it take to take a blood sample. This very disgraceful my dad's health depends on it.

When I arrived at my appointment - I was not booked in under my name BUT my mothers!!The receptionist was quite abrupt and negative - it wasn’t until the nurse said to cancel it and insert my name in quickly - otherwise surprise surprise would have to book another appointment.Did not appreciate the other member of staff coming in as she was waiting for her appointment - VERY RUDE.Heidi was brilliant and very supportive as I had my mini meltdown AGAIN because of mistakes made at the surgery
