Dropped some some parts off for a Mk2 Escort a couple of weeks before Christmas, I was told that they would be ready the next week, I rang them on the Monday and was told that they weren’t finished but would be ready for the Wednesday, I rang them and was told they were ready, I explained that due to work commitments I wasn’t going to be able to collect them before Christmas so I would come the first day they re-opened, I’ve just been in to collect them and been told they haven’t even been started. What a complete waste of time that’s been.Don’t use this company, find someone else

Took a bucket of old nuts, bolts, springs etc for a restoration project I'm doing. They came back after 2 weeks looking like new. Highly recommended and very reasonable on price.

Popped in here to get a brass fox door knocker chrome plated - they were very quick and did a brilliant job! Would recommend.

DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO BE CHROMED HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A RUBBISH JOB DONE!!!Took a very rare, very expensive, 1972 MK1 ford capri bumper in to be prepared and rechromed. The car had been in an accident so there were some marks on the bumper but I was assured it could be sorted and look 'good' (their words). Got a call three weeks later saying it's ready to collect. Drove from Sandy to Northampton to collect it, and when I got back home I find the bumper is a complete mess. The marks had been buffed out but there had been no attempt to flatten it again; this meant the chrome finish was wavy. Rang them and they told me to bring it back and they'd try again, great. Drove the hour journey again to drop it off, no problem, they said they can definitely do it. Got a phone call to collect it today, went over, checked it, and it's still in an appalling state, all that's been done is that they've buffed out all the angles/lines that are supposed to be on the bumper! No offer of any sort of refund, not even a partial refund, so I'm now £360 down, with a very rare bumper that's been written off. These people obviously do not know how to prep metal, at least not car parts that's for sure. Save yourself the time, money, and hassle, and just go elsewhere. Absolute wasters.
