Cancelled my order today for over £300 because they was taking 2weeks to deliver the timber that's sitting there in the yard.so I found another timber merchant.cheaper and delivering the day after tomorrow. Won't be going back

Excellent company. Have made three orders so far this year for wood to complete DIY projects. Wood quality very good, prices excellent, no delivery charge and delivery always on the day quoted.Will definitely be using S V Timber again.

Been using SV Timber for the last 10 years. Can’t fault the service and the product quality. I am a DIYer and have mainly done landscaping projects including fencing and raised sleeper beds. Delivery is quick and always on time. Most recently order 6 sleepers this Monday. Delivered Wednesday. The quality is so much better than the chain DIY stores.

Ordered a fence panel which was at a good price. Panel was good quality and delivered quickly. Only negative was that I had no advance notice of when the panel was going to be delivered. Otherwise highly recommended.

Great experience with SV Timber (Alfreton/ Somercotes), starting with ordering in store, the lady who served me was friendly and knowledgeable to the delivery, the driver suggested dropping the timber over our fence into the garden whereas previous delivery drivers have said this wasn’t possible.A couple of lengths of decking had some defects, phoned up and some replacement lengths were delivered the next day!Couldn’t ask for better service from start to finish.
