The food here is excellent, it's spacious and the staff are really friendly. Somehow, the atmosphere is so nice that you don't feel you're eating in a restaurant at all. I think the word is homely"

Went here for a birthday meal on Saturday night, our booking was for 10 including a baby and a child which they were aware of and our table was booked for 5.30pm. upon arriving we were informed that is was a very busy night for them so we would only be allowed to have the table until 7pm so that they could turnover for a 7.30pm table. This was impossible! 10 people including children to order, wait for food to arrive and eat in 1.5hrs. Insane! Every couple of minutes staff were watching the table from around corners like vultures ready to take away any single plate or glass finished with all through the meal to make it quicker for them to clear, we felt extremely rushed eating at full speed to try and be done on time, we then did the birthday cake and had to take it away with us as we were past 7pm and they needed the table so no time to eat it there. Apart from that what I tasted of the food whilst eating at warp speed was very nice!

I occasionally work in the Library next door to Rim Jhim and the aromatic cooking coming from the restaurant led to my wife and I going for a meal last week. I have been eating curry for many years and I think this meal was up there with the best of them. The atmosphere was busy but not too loud with a nice mix of young and old patrons. The service was attentive and polite and, although the food was slightly more expensive than other places we have eaten, it was all absolutely delicious and value for money. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

We have eaten here so many times and the food has always been excellent . The staff are courteous and fun as wellAs being highly efficient . We have just been to the Elvis night , which I can honestly say had been one of the highlights of my year! Great fun with an extremely talented singer and fantastic food despite it being a fully booked. . Well done you are our favourite place to eat!

What a lovely little place! Having visited several times to both eat in and take away I would never go any where else. The manager and his team uphold high standards of service, customer service, food and atmosphere. They remember their customers and nothing is ever too much trouble. If you are looking for an Indian restaurant whereby you are treated as though you are family this is the place to go! Thank you all! X

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE - only order collection over the phoneThis review reflects my experience ordering a collection online and not their food or service.This place was recommended to me. I ordered a collection online but at no point in the process does it tell you when to collect, so I then called to ask what time I should collect.An hour would have been reasonable given 7.30 on a Saturday night. Anyway the first person I spoke to said 90 minutes to 2 hours, and before I had time to say that was pretty long, she handed the phone to someone else who told me they would not be able to provide the food at all, and that I should try and cancel the order, which there was no way for me to do.Anyway, I was charged for the collection but got no food.Subsequently ordered from Curry India with no issues.UPDATE: credit to the owner for the response and being great sorting out the refund over the phone, really happy with that. I will probably eat in at some point to actually try the food.

We had a nice meal here. Although the portions were not massive, what we did have was good quality, had great taste and came nice and hot. The staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly. The service was slower than normal, and the manager explained why. This wasn't an issue as our evening wasn't in any rush. Overall all worth the wait and will definitely go again. Very warm welcome from the staff for our recent Sunday lunch buffet with friends. Good choice of the traditional starters and then good range of mains to choose from, including vegetarian options, rices, etc. Perhaps could have been a little warmer but that didn't detract from the taste! Be back for takeaway sometime.
