Louise Young Vocal Lessons

It was a pleasure to work with Louise over the past six months. The warm up exercises are fantastic and get progressively more challenging every week which has helped me to increase my vocal range and control.The song choices are always carefully selected to work on different aspects of my technique which has taken me out of my comfort zone and helped me to develop as a singer.I appreciate the effort she puts in to build a community of singers as well such as putting on a concert for her students and coming to support me on my first open mic night in London!Thanks for everything Lou!

Louise is a truly wonderful singing teacher. I have had a few singing teachers over the years, and Louise has been the first teacher I have met with an incredible understanding of the voice and how it relates to the rest of your body. She has taught me tips and tricks on controlling my voice and my confidence and range have increased so much because of it! She has also introduced me to new songs and styles that I never would have considered previously, and has definitely pushed me to step outside of my comfort zone (whilst still being incredibly supportive). I started working with Louise in 2021 over Skype, and continued in person lessons because I got so much out of them. I honestly cannot recommend Louise enough, you will love working with her.

Louise is an absolute breath of fresh air and the best singing teacher I have ever had. She has helped me learn how to properly mix and use my placement to hit notes higher and clearer than I ever had! Couldn't recommend her highly enough!

Louise is fabulous. Not only is she a kind and generous human being, she is technically very strong and highly knowledgeable. Louise is patient, supportive and creates a safe space in which she encourages me to experiment with my voice and have no fear in making mistakes. I already have learnt so much from her in a relatively short period of time. I always look forward to the lessons and come away with a smile on my face and feeling I have achieved something new. I couldn’t recommend her enough, she’s the best!

Louise is a FANTASTIC vocal coach and from the few sessions I’ve had with her, I’ve gained so much confidence in my singing ability. She’s hands down the best I’ve worked with in the 18 years I’ve been singing professionally, and can’t recommend her enough. If you’re looking for a kind, friendly, talented and all round wonderful individual, look no further.

My daughter (age 15) has worked with Louise over the past few months, both online and in person, on songs for Performing Arts College auditions.Louise has been wonderful to work with. She is a first class vocal coach - very professional but also easy to work with and friendly.My daughters confidence with her singing has gone through the roof! Louise has worked on vocal techniques and performance as well as advising on song selection.Nothing has been too much trouble and I can't recommend her highly enough.

I couldn’t recommend Louise more highly as a singing coach. She is a wonderfully supportive teacher who takes a real joy from helping you progress. Her passion is evident from her attention to detail - even on zoom!. I’ve learnt many new techniques and she has really helped me increase my range. On top of the lessons themselves, Louise also gives you great warm up exercises and is really brilliant at suggesting new songs for your repertoire, testament to the way she listens to you as a performer. Most importantly she makes each lesson a joy too and is always warm and encouraging while always challenging you to get better! A great teacher.
