R Davey are my goto place to go to for my car repair and maintenance.They have never even tried to mislead me or over charge me and go the extra mile to be honest with the costs

Not good. They broke my car and used it, never left your car there .

would not go here again. I took my car in a few months ago to these guys on a recommendation because there was a squeaking noise coming from my car. so this garage charged me for a new timing belt which they said was the cause of it, the noise was still there after they apparently fixed it, the garage then said it'll be the tensioner and pullies, got them replaced and guess what the noise was still there, this time they blamed the turbo pipe forbeing the cause of it and yes once again they charged for this to be done and somehow the noise was still there at which point they told me it was a normal noise to come out of a Mondeo. wow hundreds of pounds later and the problem was still there. I took my car to a different garage who did a full service on it and the issue of noise which is now resolved was due to oil filter not being on properly. And to say this garage charged me hundreds for jobs which didn't even need doing is ridiculous. I would never recommend these guys to anyone. rip off merchants.

I just turned up no appointment with a problem and they sorted it in 10 minutes. Always take my car here for M.O.T as well . Great service great price highly recommend.

My go to MOT place. Very honest, came to them paranoid about my car but they checked and ensured everything was fine. Could have easily convinced me there was and charged.

Fantastic workmenship highly qualified macanics and very reasonable prices I have used this garage for years now wouldn't go anywhere else very professionally at what they do

I have used Davey garage for a few years and they have consistently provided me with excellent service. It's hard to find a good, honest garage and these guys are both. Waiting around at times in reception is a small price to pay and I don't need to find another garage thankfully.

Awful, awful, awful! Don't use!!My car broke it's auxiliary belt on Saturday morning and I tried taking it to Ludlam Autos over the road but they were closed so I took it here.They told me it would be done Monday morning, I tried ringing but no one answered so I went down in the afternoon. The guy in charge walls away when your half way through a conversation and it took me half an hour and three attempts to find out it was a bigger job than they thought so told me to ring Tuesday morning.I phoned on Tuesday morning but again no answer. I phoned again after lunch and guy through. The owner told me the bumper just needed to go back on and it would be done in half an hour. I went down half an hour later to find the bumper on the floor, no one working on it and no boss.I waited for over two hours for the bumper to go on. He gave me £7 of my bill for my inconvenience!On the way home I heard I ticking noise from the engine. When I got home, I pulled the bonnet pull to see what they'd done to find out they hadn't reconnected it!Avoid at all costs; go to Ludlam over the road!

Definitely recommed, They managed to book my car in asap for a mot and oil&filter change for a very good price. Did a great job! Thank you
