The coffee, food and homemade snacks are all delicious!Interiors are fab with loads of lil extras like toys and colouring bits for the kids.Staff are amazing and always have a smile on their faces. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Yup, this is as good as it gets. I’ve travelled the world over and the Coffee Box is as good as any high ranking coffee shop in Europe or North America. Good coffee, great friendly service, quality food and a cozy atmosphere. As good as it gets.

In our travels we often stop for coffee along the way.. so we’ve probably visited coffee shops in over 60 countries!We’re in Ireland for a couple of weeks and this is day 2. We saw The Coffee Box as we drove into Clones so headed over as soon as we parked. A quick scan of the display case and the barista setup and we suspected we’d found a good one!The staff are friendly and cheerful, the coffee is delicious and they have oat milk which is a huge plus for me.There was a vision of meringue, pink and cream loveliness sitting in the glass display which I was told was a strawberry meringue roulade. It looked like a rolled pavlova to my untrained eye. I ordered a piece and the slice I got is in my photo attached. It was the most delicious version of meringue I’ve ever had - no joking. My husband asked how it tasted and I told him it was terrible and that he really didn’t need to try it ;).I won’t go on and on but solid points noted for the kids activity area, the super clean, well stocked bathroom and the selection of cards for sale. A clean well stocked bathroom is next to godliness for me!

I remember the coffee box when it was a box. Now it’s a proper cafe, and I can easily say it’s the best cafe in Clones. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The coffee always fulfils my coffee needs and desires. And I’m loving their exploration into food so far. I ate their pancakes today which are new, and as a Canadian we have high standards for pancakes. These pancakes are light and fluffy and possibly the best I’ve had in Ireland to date. 10/10 would recommend!

Lovely little spot. Hot chocolate and pancake stack were delicious. Spacious, comfortable and even a selection of colouring things for kids. Will definitely be back.
