I got in touch with Douglas to transfer some old VHS to digital for me, the tapes were 25-30 years old so I wasn't sure how well they would have lasted. Douglas was easy to communicate with, great at keeping in touch throughout the process and even sent me a sample when he had done some of the job so I could see how it was looking. Now I have family memories to keep that are so precious and I couldn't be happier with the job done by Douglas. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Douglas digitised some 8mm family films for me to gift my family for Christmas, his knowledge and care was just phenomenal and he was very communicative - I really appreciated this as someone with no knowledge in this field! Everything was packaged so safely for postage as well.I am so grateful to him for his expertise as nobody in the family even remembered what was on the tapes as they were taken by a family member who has since passed.

Douglas provided outstanding conversion of old VHS videos into digital format, where the quality was as if brand new. Additionally, it was a last minute request during the Christmas period, where despite being very busy, Douglas went over and above to get my request done in time as a gift to my Mother. I'd highly recommend!

I had been unable to give copies of my camcorder DVDs to family members because of the poor quality when I copied them, so Douglas was an extremely lucky find for me. He cleaned everything up (sorry-I don’t know the technical terms!) and transferred the discs and I was able to finally give copies to everyone. They are all playing perfectly and to a much better quality than they had previously. And they were ready within two days, AND Douglas wouldn’t take payment until I had checked that I was happy with them. A very professional and friendly service. I highly recommend!

Douglas did a great job! I got 5 x 8mm cinefilms and a VHS video converted to digital and the quality was excellent! The service was fast, efficient and the communications were good. The cost was very reasonable and it was good to eventually look back at good memories once again. I would definitely recommend Vintage Media Transfer if you are looking at digital conversion.

Our VHS tape was at least 25 years old, with spots of mould visible on the tape, and we were uncertain that the film clip we wished to save to a digital file would be still available. Douglas has provided our family with fantastic service. He converted my grandparents old cinefilm to digital to allow the whole family who live all over the world, to access footage from the iCloud. He recently converted our video cassettes to digital allowing our kids to access their childhood videos from the iCloud.
