Miss Gen Photography

Gen photographed our wedding in November 2019. I'd come across her work online a year or so beforehand, and as soon as we started wedding planning, we knew she was the only photographer for us. We had an intimate ceremony with just three friends, so were a little nervous about having the camera so focussed on us, but Gen couldn't have put us more at ease. Her ability to capture even the smallest moments has resulted in family and friends saying they felt like they were there with us, and we can't wait to work with Gen again next year for our larger celebration.

Choosing Miss Gen to photograph our wedding was the easiest decision we made. Gen was warm and friendly when we first met-up to discuss what we wanted, and she gave us plenty of ideas and suggestions to consider. We followed our instinct and totally followed Gen's direction in the run-up and on the day. Unobtrusive, professional and a really calming presence, Gen was just wonderful to work with. Did I mention how absolutely stunning, original and inventive her photography is? She made our wedding look amazing, and we are so grateful. Don't hesitate to book Miss Gen, you will not regret it.

Our photos are simply brilliant. We've had so much fun going through them (again and again). It was a pleasure working with Gen and I'm so pleased to have had her to capture our special day. I'm already trying to find reasons to book her for a couples shoot next year :) Our decision to elope was definitely the right one for us and her photos capture so many sweet moments that we've been able to share with out family and friends.

As soon as I started Wedding planning I knew I had to have Miss Gen as our photographer and she did not disappoint. We had a very small intimate Wedding of only 10 guests and Gen fitted in so perfectly.I had worried I'd feel silly posing for couple shots but Miss Gen's approach put us totally at ease and she stood back and did her thing while we wondered around, it was all very easy and natural and not at all intimidating!I can't tell you how many times I have looked back at our photos and each time it really brings the day back to life! I can't recommend Miss Gen enough, she's a fantastic photographer! I wish we could do it again!!

From the very beginning of planning our wedding we knew we had to book Genevieve for our day. Her effortless style and stunning edit, not to mention how lovely a person she is too, was all it took to convince us to entrust her with our day. As massive photography enthusiasts we didn't have a single doubt in her ability to capture our day beautifully, and she delivered far beyond what my husband and I had imagined.Given the circumstances of this year (2020) and having to rearrange everything multiple times and last minute, Genevieve was so understanding and with us every step of the way. We always knew photography would be our most important investment and we are SO glad we prioritised it. Miss Gen shot our wedding in London last October and we can't recommend her highly enough. First and foremost, Gen is an exceptional photographer but also, importantly, on a busy and fast-paced day, she is a very calm presence and it was such a pleasure to have her there. Gen photographed our wedding in September 2019. I wanted to capture the atmosphere of the day in an artistic way, and she did that perfectly! It was also lovely to have Gen with us on our wedding day, she made us feel at ease and we really enjoyed taking our couple pictures.We couldn't be happier with the our wedding photos! From the moment we started planning, we both agreed investing in quality photography, and a photographer we’d feel comfortable with, was one of our highest priorities. We knew Gen’s images would be captivating and professional, having spent some considerable time pouring over her blog and images of other couples. Gen’s pictures were remarkable. They captured joy, excitement and elation, vulnerability and nervousness. We can view the day not only from our perspective, but also that of our family and friends. They showed us so many fleeting moments we missed on the day and each frame really tells a story, rich with emotion and context. Gen captured plenty of gorgeous portrait photos of the two of us, family and group photos to please our grandparents back home and many, many, beautiful reportage shots which is primarily what we were after - each individual image looked like it belonged in the editorial section of the New York Times or TIME magazine. Every frame told a story or captured an emotion and that’s exactly what we were looking for.Gen was fabulous to work with, she patiently listened to our indecisiveness, gave guidance and perspective where we needed it, and willingly braved the constant drizzle when we were determined to get outdoor photos. She’s professional, relaxed and genuinely really friendly. She was somehow both completely discrete on our Wedding Day, but managed to capture every angle and detail of our day. We're so grateful, thanks Gen.

Gen was so wonderfully professional and thoughtful throughout the whole process of capturing our wedding day, from initial discussions to delivering our images the service was so considered, supportive and personal. We were overwhelmed by the images that Gen captured for us, they were just beautiful. Her style and use of natural light were perfect for us. She captured so much, the small details through to the big moments, we have everything to treasure. We were so surprised by just how many moments Gen caught without us realising she was there! She was an absolute dream to have with us on the day and to say we are thrilled with her photography is an understatement. We can't recommend her enough!
