Screwfix offers excellent customer service with a well-informed sales team, which is especially welcome for someone like me with very limited technical know-how! I’ve used the Cambridge branch a lot lately and everyone there seems friendly and keen to help me navigate its comprehensive, and competitively-priced product range. Even their out of stock items have been sourced very quickly.Just great.

Screwfix Clifton Industrial Estate 23-4 Cherry Hinton Rd Cambridge CB1 7EB:Open 7 days a week! Clearly signposted, limited parking at busy times. Screfix - mooth operators or what! From ordering, paying online and collecting its a dream, got my item within 2 hours. Served by couteous staff with very little fuss. However not everyone can order online and may have to ring or go into this outlet. Have to say l do miss being able to wandering round to see what they have in case l want one. However this is probably the way things are going. Cuts down on theft and storage space area.

Overpriced on most items. Toolstation are close by go visit them first. Their service is excellent and the pricing is generally very competitive.

Avoid this shop at all costs. They will fine you £100 for parking here after the store is shut, even if you were a customer earlier on in the day. It is poorly signposted, and it is completely incomprehensible why they would fine you for parking in a customers only bay when the store is shut ! Furthermore, the fine was deposited on my car a mere 2 minutes after I walked away (I checked my watch as I left the car). Clearly the person laying the fine was lying in wait for me to leave so they could fine a student £100, rather than approach me to explain the poor signposting and ask me to park elsewhere. I will never shop at Screwfix again.

Click and collect service was brilliant. Ordered before store opening and my order was there when I entered 10 mins after they opened. Click and collect also allows you to check whether they have the item in stock at that branch which avoids wasted trips and disappointment. Item was well priced and very well made.

always good stock levels. You can obtain a book in store which lists loads of products. Staff are very knowledgeable and always helpful.its the trades section of B and Q several shops over the country and never been in a bad one yet. Always check the price online but usually competitive.

Screwfix staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. When I rush in with only minutes to spare before closing (happens to me far more than you might think), they are always welcoming, answer my daft questions, and go through the catalogue to help me find a particular item, etc. They never try to hurry me along.Also, their range is vast, their prices low, the quality high, and the opening hours long.
