Edmonton Police Station

Been a while now since my last visit. Don't think I'll be back. Solid bed, not really a pillow, more comfort of an arm chair. The blanket was more of a gym mat. The bathroom was awful, I wouldn't recommend a number 2. Cuz u will be stuck with it the rest of the night.Strict no mobile phone policy. No WiFi or entertainment provided either. Not even a TV or Radio. Had to count sheep or play I spy which wasn't really environmentally friendly for that type of game.Quite a few unwanted wake up calls in the middle of the night with other guests coming and going. Random rude awakenings and so on.Food was awful. Tracker bar and the cheapest ready meal money can buy is about the height of it. Small cups of water provided only, one gulp and it's gone. After a heavy nights drinking u think they would be a bit more considerate with the amount provided, give u a jug at least. They don't really like to be bothered after they leave u to your room.Check out was a nightmare, too many hold ups and empty promises of quicker check out. Just couldn't get out of there fast enough.Got a free tracksuit though and got pushed out the door and into the street to show it off to the crowds of judgemental onlookers admiring your new plain grey top notch no named outfit with your black school gym gutties.Not a great experience overall. Definitely recommend avoiding this place. You would find more peace and comfort on the street.

The service to actually contact the Met Police is a complete joke. There is no law and order where I live and we are one step away from people taking matters into their own hands.

My girlfriends purse was handed in we were told it was in Edmonton but they said they didn't have it. We are now on the second visit and after waiting two hours we finally have it back. Honestly the officers couldn't get a job in McDonald's if they tried yet they are protecting our streets..

Wish I could give less than 1 star! The officers stationed here are poorly trained, ignorant of the law, and incredibly unprofessional. This is why so many people dislike the police now, they truly believe they are above the public they are meant to protect. The power has corrupted them, and they desperately need retraining.

Was investigating for an upcoming trip when I found a video of police harrassing and assaulting a citizen for taking pictures with a drone similar to what could be found on Google Earth. I thought US cops were low intelligent order followers but it looks like British cops could be worse. May not visit England if these are the type of law enforcement I may encounter...

Just seen on Koleeberks channel on YouTube some of the worst Briiish policing. A drone operator was conducting a legal activity outside of the station and was physically assaulted by female officers who didn't identify themselves and seemed to have forgotten their shoulder numbers and names. Further abuse of powers by the police continued with false arrest and theft. An absolute sham of procedure and law. They should all be standing tall in front of the man for this particularly the Polish officer who seemed completely unfit to be holding a warrant card.

No wonder met police are under special measures due bad conduct. With officers at this nick not knowing the law giving unlawful and incorrect laws also assaulting member of the public for doing something legal. Training clearly was rushed to make up numbers. Met police clearly not learning..

Just seen KoleeBerks video outside of here. Once again a whole commotion and abuse of Section 42. A 250 gram drone with a camera filming legally is not reasonable grounds to detain and steal the man's property from him. The divide between the public and police is getting wider by the day. Every single day there are plenty of new video showing that police have no clue of the laws and powers they abuse. The taxpayers take care of the bill though, so they don't care.

A disgrace to her majesty’s constabulary. Please address chief inspector, public photography is not a crime.
