Penny is an incredible teacher and is really able to bring out the best in the handler to enable a positive relationship with your dog. Penny really helped me turn around my relationship with my HPR when she was going through her adolescent phase. My dog and I now work as a team and have a terrific bond.

My wife takes our very bouncy spaniel to Penny and the difference has been amazing. He now has focus and steadiness whilst still retaining his cheeky nature. He loves the training and it has made a huge difference. Thank you Penny.

Willow, my now 2 year old cocker spaniel was challenging, only wanting to play. Thanks to Penny, keeping me on track I was able to complete the tasks given even if it did take a little while. Well yesterday she was 2 years old, we were able to have a fantastic walk, on and off lead, and an amazing recall. She is such a happy and well trained dog that we can take anywhere. Thanks Penny. X

This is my first cocker spaniel Spudy, Penny is helping me enormously with him, he’s been quite challenging. Whilst not new to keeping dogs (new to spaniels) after each of the lessons I’ve come away with some great advice on what to do between sessions.Key for me Penny is very patient and always able to put over positives and addresses any issues that I've had in training Spudy - Really looking forward to the next lesson.

Penny is a fantastic trainer. We have been seeing her for a year now and she has helped me to transform my bird/scent crazy sprocker into a little dog who listens to me and works with me as a team. This is certainly not something that I thought ever possible. I would highly recommend her.

Went to Penny Hoare several yrs ago with a very reactive Terrier who had had a very bad start in life from people and other dogs.We had previously been to 3 other trainers who couldn’t help.On assessment Penny quickly identified his main problem was fear of all around him.We started with a couple of 121 then moved on to social group training and then obedience and rally classes. It has taken a long time and he now manages to run free off lead in fields and woodland without problems and mixes withe other dogs and people well.He goes to fun dog shows and usually gets at least 1 rosette and has even entered obedience competitions .we are now able to go anywhere and enjoy life. One of the things he likes doing is sitting on a chair outside supermarkets collecting for dog charities and getting all the attention something that would not have been possible before.Penny trains the handler how to read the dog and deal with any problems.I really don’t know what would have happened had we not met her.She is so knowledgable and professional while remaining warm and caring.

Penny is an excellent positive reinforcement gundog trainer, not only training my placid spaniel Daisy and my more challenging sprocker Tansy, but also training me..! and all within friendly, fun environments. I can honestly say I have enjoyed every single 1-1 session, group session, workshop and field trip that Penny has run so super efficiently along with her knowledgeable assistants Debbie and Alison.

I have known Penny for a long time and she has helped me with various dogs over the years. More recently has been her invaluable support with my current, high drive, English Springer spaniel. Penny’s knowledge and experience is second to none and under her guidance we have made great progress.I would highly recommend Penny to anyone.

I have been both a client and assistant working with Penny for many years. Her gentle reward based training methods are so valuable to both me and my dogs enabling us to have a happy and trusting relationship whether it be in a working shoot environment or a fun relaxed walk in the woods. After a training session working with you and your dog Penny will send you off with great ideas and importantly a happy dog!
