First time customer; slow despatch (over a week from taking payment before shipping), no communication, had to chase to get the order despatched, and still no response to the changing email (but at least I got a despatch email).Hopefully this is not representative of the general customer experience, but some communication would be gratefully appreciated...

Excellent service, on-line enquiry (Louise) resulted in my festoons and cable arriving within 36 hrs! after looking for weeks to locate a small number of lamp holders (x10) of the right type (BC) and wattage for my vintage lamps, very pleased

I have such high praise for the excellent service I received from Essential Supplies.Conor McGuirk could not do enough for me – he was excellent. I had to purchase a Floodlight for my market stall and being a novice, I did not know how to attach the plug to it. Conor made the whole process exceptionally seamless. He arranged for the plug to be fitted onto the Floodlight lead so that all I had to do was get to my market stall, plug in and go.Thank you for such an excellent service and wonderful product. Essential Supplies UK Ltd provided us with some great spot lights to light up a large oval bar in our marquee. The theme was 'nightclub' and these lights worked perfectly, ensuring the cocktails could be made and the vibe was set. I’ve been looking for some festoon lights for a little while and came across Essential Supplies from a Google search. I sent my requirements via their website and was very pleasantly surprised to receive a call Sarah within an hour. She sent me an email almost immediately following our conversation detailing the various options available. One of the options was perfect for my needs and was very reasonably priced.I must commend Sarah for her excellent customer service and will certainly use Essential Supplies in the future.

I rang and spoke to Conor who was very helpful at giving advice on the custom order/design I was looking for in regards to outdoor lighting. He checked stock levels, gave advice on additional items I would/could need etc etc. Very helpful overall and helped cement my decision to purchase from them!

Excellent Service. Ordered the wrong cable which had to be made up specially. Once I informed ES they accepted a refund and sent the right cable out the same day. Very responsive to phonecalls and emails. Would highly recommend.

.I have just purchased some urgently needed electrical equipment from this company and paid for a pre 10.30am delivery. The next morning I received a message from the courier to say we wouldn't be getting the items delivered that day. Before I had a chance to get in touch with Essential Supplies" they called me to say there was a problem and they would sort it. They managed to source the goods from other companies local to us at their expense and get them all delivered to us that same day whilst keeping us updated. I'm absolutely gobsmacked by the service they provided. I don't think I have ever had a company who has had the conscience to sort a problem in this way. Most other companies would just shrug there shoulders and say it's the couriers problem. Thank you and I look forward to using you again."
