Just got my old Jeep Wrangler back after having a faulty auto gearbox repaired. Kevin initially did an extensive road test without any charge which impressed me. I took the car in before I went on holiday and collected it on my return. It drives like a different car. I received excellent service and would be happy to recommend Kevin and the team.

Extortionate prices, also understand a gearbox is a complicated item. It is impossible to fathom that a valve repair would cost £1200 plus VAT and a reconditioned gearbox will cost £2500 plus VAT

Was recommended the garage by a mechanic friend. Staff were friendly and helpful. My car had to be recovered there by AA after auto gearbox issues. They were able to diagnose the issue and i was happy with the price quoted to fix. I was lucky that they could do the work quickly as they usually book weeks ahead. I really appreciated this. Vehicle was Dropped there wed, work completed by 2:30pm on the friday. Would recommend highly if you have auto gearbox issues.

Unfortunately despite the garage being friendly, having good reviews and probably very experienced in many gearboxes, unfortunately with my car I was let down massively to the point I had pay a second time for a recovery of the car from them after 5 weeks of not alot happening.I had a major failure in my Audi Megatronic system where by a know fault casuing coolant to enter the main megatronic unit occurred.I waited the 3 weeks wait before paying a recovery to take my car to them. Explained the situation and referenced the Audi tech documents for this well known common failure in Audi Boxes, the cause of the issue and repair required. (Megatronic rebuild, loom repair and coolant pump replacement).I work locally and noticed for 2 weeks the car was sat on road outside but when enquired how it was coming along was told a technician was busy and would update me. I called 3x for an update to then be told he was on holiday.The car within 2 days moved and 2 weeks further on I still struggped for an update by phone or email. So I made the decision to pay again and recover the car from them and take to a German car specialist. This far they had only been checking fuse boxws for a blown fuse and obtained a wiring diagram.The new garage had a 1 week wait and within 9 days of dropping to them my car was back, Megatronic rebiluilt, new loom connectors and a new coolant pump with an extensive report and warranty on labour and parts.12 weeks without a car is not acceptable. (Ok wait time and second garage taken into consideratin) Maybe I've just been unlucky?? but can't recommend personally. I hate to write a bad review as I'm sure it's not a common occurance, but if a garage is too busy or out its depth just don't take the work on!

Kevin is a very kind and incredibly knowledgable chap. He diagnosed my car and fixed it with speed for a fair price. This isn’t the kind of specialist work you can just get done anywhere, it requires knowledge and Specalist tools. He could have charged me far more than he did. However he’s fair and honest trader. I think a lot of him. Highly recommend.

True professionals, great specialist for any auto gear boxes. This is the first time that I have used them and I am very impressed. I highly recommend this garage.

The service received was 1st Class. They took upon an urgent job like I had it booked in, very caring and concerned about your gear problem. They have very good knowledge of Auto gearbox transmission. They were quick in replacing the leaking seals in the gear box. After service care is excellent, they asked if the repaired gear box is working well. Which of course, it is.I would recommend Auto Gearbox Hove to anyone/everyone all day long. Well done you.

Very professional and next to none service.Kevin was so helpful and informative, fixed the car gearbox with one third the price quoted by the Mercedes dealership. Great people, they know what they're doing. Took my car in for DSG service and would trust them to replace clutch and gearbox when they go. Repair is radical!

Very honest and skillful Garage. Another garage quoted me a crazy price for gearbox repair. This Garage was recommended by a good mechanic friend and they carried out the same job for a reasonable price
