Vets4Pets Longton were so helpful this week when I had to take my poorly dog Jim there on Tuesday morning. Sadly it was his time to leave us but their kindness will never be forgotten. I even had a condolence card in the post this morning - all very well done. Kim

We have been at Vets 4 Pets for many, many years. All of our fur babies have been given the upmost professional care. We have always been happy with all of the staff that have seen to us and our dogs. We care for our dogs with so much love and care. We would not go anywhere else. Lindsey is a most amazing professional. For us, she is the best there is.Most recently, one of our fur babies has had two different lots of surgery. He was treated with the most special care and now aftercare. Thank you Lindsey. We are so happy with vets 4 Pets.

I took our elderly hamster Dumpling in this evening and they treated his prolapsed cheek within 15 minutes. Can’t thank or recommend them enough! The vet got him seen and fixed him up straight away and the nurse was so kind to me as I was so upset and gave me great advice on how to avoid the same issue in the future. He’s happily back in his bed without too much disruption. Amazing!

Absolutely shocking, I haven’t written a review and thought I would give the vets owner Lindsay time to speak to me and respond to my argument but seems that she’s hiding away, every time I ring I can’t speak to her also 2 times I have popped up not got anywhere, never known such a careless human than her, they are all okay to be updating the social media page that they are moving and all this but not speak and listen to the customers concerns, going have no one moving with you at this rate.On Friday the 27th of October we brought Angel Henry in due to sickness and a fever (hot and cold body temperature). Angel was kept in on the Friday, was not given anything for sickness, even though you should give a anti sickness tablet/injection to see if the dog is still being sick on a antisickness medication because if she was then this is normally a serious case, After the day stay Angel was sent home for being 'bright, eating what was offered' within 5 minutes of us getting home, Angel was throwing up, very weak, projectile dihereoring, throughout the whole night, we brought Angel back into the vets the folloing day with the same concerns as the first appointment on the Friday, where we left her at the vets for 45 mins to 1 hour to pick her up to be told she's not been sick, then to walk out the vets and thrown up on the car park, which we did show one of the vets and asked her to pass this on to the emergancy vets which we had been told to go to.We paid £650, to be ignored of our concerns and risking our puppys life, on the friday and saturday both me and my partner raised our concerns of Parvovirus to both Ann on the Friday and Lindsey on the Saturday, if we left this down to a normal sickness bug, or she has just eating something, our puppy would have died at home, if the vets she is going under the correct care have asked us within 20 mins of Angel being there have asked if they can do a Parvovirus test, considering the cases within the area rising, why not offer one of the Friday? We came into the vets today (30/10/2023) where one of your vets said we do have Parovirus tests in. Angel is at a crutial age where this can be fatal, you should have followed the right procedures, like the vets she is at now have. And if you are putting this down to it being rare, and only 2 cases in the whole 20 years you have been in service, then it''s very worrying considering there isn't just Angel in the vets fighting Parvovirus and i know there has been incleased cases of parvo especially around our areas, you need to offer the testing with any dog that comes in with symptoms as we don;t want anyone to go through what we have. symtoms such as tirdness, feaver, sickness, weight loss to which you would have known she had lost 0.8kg overnight if you had weighed angel upon arrival on saturday. within the 14 hours she was at home this could have definetly affected her white blood cells and made her lack in the protein she needs to fight this battle she is currently fighting, this is crucial. Also, when we picked Angel up on the Friday, one of your receptionst's told us that Angel had been on their lap out on the front looking out of the window, so prodecdures of a poorly dog were not followed and this deadly virus could have easily been passed to any of the dog in practice that day. this is worrying.I spoke to Lindsay on monday about my concerns to which she kept saying she couldn't hear me after every big point i mentioned, funny though that the other vets i rang could hear me perfectly fine. lindsey then went on to say she would email me over her email...this is yet to be recieved.Luckily this deadly virus did not take angel away from us but the lack of care from this vets could have, this is not acceptable and the fact we are being ignored with such a Big thing is horrendous for a company.

My dog Frankie was transferred here after a very rough night at the emergency vets following a severe seizure. She was staying all day and was being monitored and having tests. All staff were brilliant and the vet was very caring and even before her shift started was asking about Frankie on her way in.I was advised on arrival that the cost of the day's treatment would be £600-£700.On picking up a much better Frankie, I was asked to pay £148. The vet informed me that when monitoring Frankie it was decided she didn't need some of the tests predicted.I can not thank the team enough for the fact we have Frankie home and well and with the little humans she adores. This has always been an amazing vets for my dog and the family. But unfortunately had difficulties after COVID-19 due to no person allowed into the vets when my dog needed to go and that has affected him on a negative way. He did love going to the vets all until 1 experience during COVID-19 which now has made him dislike going. Apart from that it is an amazing vets. My dogs vet has been absolutely brilliant.
