I use to work here. I’m so glad I left.Always Cutting corners on jobs all the time, asking all of us to do fake checker trade reviews all the time to knock the bad ones down.All clients not happy and he use to tell me to block the clients numbers so he didn’t have to get back to them.Emailing and making up a name called Tom but no one called Tom works there. I’m so glad I left as all this was concerning. Really do get a 2nd opinion and ask for their qualifications. Definitely go elsewhere.

Absolutely shocking customer service!Had the roundel of an oast hose treated and replastered in spring of 2022, and all seemed ok.I contacted thier offices on 3rd January 2023, saying that we had issues with damp coming through the walls.Finally got a response on 20 Feb, that a manager would visit shortly.A manager visite, and said that he could see the problem, and not to worry, all would be resolved under their guarentee.We are now in August, and despite countless emails, voice mails etc, have not had a single response!

They lied about being a registered member of the Property Care Association (PCA). I phoned PCA to check and the Tunbridge Wells Branch and Neil are not registered. The damp and timber survey I was provided with had multiple errors and contradictions to that of my home buyer report carried out a few weeks prior, (which contained photo evidence). When I called to complain I was told to email Tom, and from what I've read on another review here, I suspect there isn't a Tom working for them. I sent a complaint email and their policy on their website states I will receive an email update within 3 working days. It's now been 6 working days.

Know this company well. Staff training consists of watching damp proofing on a laptop. Only staff member with experience and qualifications under his belt was Michael, the rest were all taught by him but he left because he didn’t agree with the way the company was run. The staff still needed guidance by him and I feel are now lost without him.Ask for qualifications from the staff they have none. Damp proofing is a very corrupt trade and it’s very easy to play on people’s fear, trust me this can be learnt on YouTube. Do your research and question everything otherwise it will cost a fortune in the long run. Question the floor products if its done in a day they are not conforming to the drying times on them. Also plaster should be dry before putting the skirting back as this promotes mould growth. Most companies like Prokil will rush this to get the job done. REMEMBER google EVERYTHING!! Questions are key with damp proofing. Trust your judgement not reviews. Anyone can make up an email anddress and put in a positive review “isn’t that right Prokil”? Checkatrade is a prime example.

Complete crook, Neil is a unqualified and unexperienced contractor. I would say he should stick to his previous ventures of selling ice cream and shoes but that failed too. Since mike has left and several previous managers before, they are now left with just again unexperienced and unqualified operatives. I'm not doing this review from being disgruntled, the checkatrade reviews are fake I know because I did one along with other operatives. Recommended to get a second quotation just to analyse Neil's quotation. As childish as it sounds tom does not exist it genuinely is neil either putting on a voice, the only people in the office is himself and his wife Colletee, avoid at all cost.

Excellent and professional work from Prokil from the start to the end! This includes the initial consultation and assessment of the required work, the actual buildings work done and the post-work assessment one week later. The work was done of an high quality, the place was left clean, the builders were very time-punctual and during my post-work assessment Prokil also helped me with some minor additional work. On the top of all this Prokil members were all professional and very nice to interact with. Thank you again!

Unprofessional and unreliable, offered my partner a job , and a week's trial. My partner then moved all his work round to suit them and give them a week free of his time , ended up losing the jobs he out back which resulted in us not getting paid anything for the week he missed , then Neil and Dan had the nerve never to get back to my partner with a new start date. I wouldn't recommend applying for any job positions they put in indeed as I believe they are fake and they like to use people for a job they may have and promise u a full time position then never get back to you!!!
