I brought my Renault Twingo in as it had intermittent ignition problems. Electrum were very efficient and reassuring - providing an insight into what it might be ( starter motor) and then confirming the diagnosis. They quoted a fair quote given the work required and kept to the quote even when there was more work involved due to the nature of the car. Happy to use again and would recommend

I had some electrical issues with my Defender and was recommended this company by a neighbour. I took it in, explained the issues which Rob wrote down and was told I’d get a call in a few hours. Rob then called, explained a simple fix on 1 part and the repair on the other. I picked the car up a few hours later all done exactly as needed and they charged me a fair amount for the work. A job well done, thanks very much.

I feel compelled to write this review, because of the level of professionalism, politeness, generosity, and patience that was clearly shown by the lad who helped me out.This morning, I arrived unannounced and explained that I had some trouble fitting new bulbs to the main beams (VW Passat B8), and although they were a bit busy at the time, they happily asked me to pop back in a couple of hours' time.So I turned up, and the lad patiently did his best to get the new lights installed, and didn't charge at all! I was shocked to have experienced such a smooth and generous bit of service, particularly in this day and age where you can't be sure about anyone or any business.I've been to Electrum a number of times over the years, with various cars, and various issues. All have been resolved in a timely manner and I honestly cannot fault the garage.If you have any automotive electrical or other queries, consider Electrum because they honestly saved me a lot of headache and I am really grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and patience. Like I said, I turned up out of the blue and yet by this afternoon, I've come home with everything working perfectly! 10/10

Amazing service. I went for a BMW Z4 tail led signal light failure that only could be fixed by replacing the whole light, and which surprisingly was out of stock in the whole market and Rob proactively and magically called BMW and managed to get the product delivery in a few weeks. Absolutely fantastic. Super recommend this company , and of course Rob. Thank you very much!!!

I went in with an issue with my day lights. They were very good in fixing the issue. I felt the price was a little high for the job that was needed and I waited about 6/7 hours total for the diagnosis and the work to be done. It was a matter of changing the light plugs. But the team are very friendly
