The Buttercup Bakery

The buttercup bakery was referred to me by a friend after I seen a cake she’d made for her. Emma was so friendly and helpful as I didn’t know exactly what I wanted for my daughter’s 18th. She worked with me to design the cake I wanted and I also had some cupcakes to go with the main cake. To say I was delighted was an understatement. My cake was absolutely perfect and the cupcakes were in 3 different designs, some with fresh flowers on. She is very professional in her approach and I liked that she asked about any allergies or special requirements. She also made me 3 different flavoured cupcakes (Victoria sponge, lemon and chocolate) nothing was too much trouble, she even delivered it to my venue at a convenient time for me. (As I was run ragged that day lol) Everyone remarked on the cakes at the party but best of all my daughter was delighted with it. I would highly recommend The buttercup bakery (Emma Whitwell) and will now be ordering my daughters 21st birthday cake from her. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my cakes she’s the best. Always go to Emma for our cakes, she truly goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you asked for. Talented decorator and the cakes are delicious! 100000% would recommend

Emma is simply FABULOUS at what she does , her designs and attention to intricate details is beyond belief. She has made many of our celebration cakes including my sons wedding cake which was spectacular....would highly recommend.

Emma made me cupcakes when I moved into my first house and they were insane! Little boxes, welcome mat, keys, paint pot and brush - I’m just in awe when I see the photos of her cakes. You will not be disappointed. There is nothing this woman can’t create in fondant…
