Buttercross Dental Practice

I am completely terrified of going to the dentist but can honesty say that both dentists I saw acknowledged my fear and made me feel at ease. I felt listened to and reassured and would recommend this practice.

I had treatment carried out by Mr Tan .he was very reasuring and took the time to explain my treatment plan .the end result was excellent. Mr Tans dental nurse was very pleasant and always gave a cheery hello

Dr Kim Tan is great. Always explains exactly what’s happening, how much it’s going to cost. Is understanding of someone with a fear of the dentist and gives me the time and control I need to handle any treatment.

Excellent service. The dentist knew their job really well, explained everything to me clearly, and carried out the procedure expertly. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Having not been to the dentist for over 20 years, I was very apprehensive. But I was put at ease by the dentist Rebecca Powell, and even more so by the lovely hygienist Sara Reid.Highly recommended for nervous patients.

I've been with buttercross dental for a few years and over this time I've had mixed experiences. My dentist changes on every visit and as someone who has a fear of needles and the dentist, it can be hard to feel comfortable with someone completely new. With that said my most recent hygienist appointment with Sara Reid was great. She was friendly, professional and made me feel at ease. She did a very good job and I could tell she really cared. My previous dentist Rebecca did 2 fillings and I required 3 needles. She also relaxed me and checked up on me throughout. I was disappointed when I came back and she no longer worked there as my next dentist was late and really rushed my appointment. With all said, overall I'll continue to visit. The reception team are lovely. I'm not sure who my dentist is at the moment but I'm hopeful! I'd say 4 stars overall. I can't comment at this time as a NHS surgery because the NHS is overwhelmed and I've only had private appointments since COVID.

Very friendly service - I called every dental practice in Whitney and these were the nicest and most helpful in taking a lady who needed an emergency appointment and helped point her the right direction to get additional help. Thank you!
