So we've been meaning to visit here for a while now, after seeing all the good reviews.We can say it lived up to and exceeded all the good reviews. We opted for the cote de boefIt was full and flavour and cooked to perfection, we went for rare. Its safe to say it's the best steak we've had in a long time.The service was attentive and friendly.Can def recommend.

This is truly an amazing place. I have had a medium rare steak and it was amazing. I loved the message on the back of the menu. I am pleased to hear it is family run who care about quality of food and it shows. Pleasure is all mine to visit

What a great place for a delicious meal. Meat is locally sourced and outstanding flavour. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Lovely staff. Helpful, welcoming and very kind.Make sure to try the pork belly - one of the best I’ve had. The sauces are exquisite specially the peppercorn.Lovely pairing wine list for your meal. A 5/5!

One of the best steak houses I've ever been to! I highly recommend this restaurant.I made a booking for one last minute and they accommodated me quickly. Unfortunately, when I arrived and was shown to my table it was laid up for two and the waitress even put down a second menu.I chose what I wanted and was seen to quite quickly. Despite ordering a glass of wine, one starter and one main, the waitress then asked if I was waiting for anyone.As a single dinner this repeated assumption that I must be with someone else made me feel quite saddened, especially as I had pre-booked for one.The wine was very good, and the starter came out in a flash.I had ordered whitebait but what I was presented with was surprising small considering it's £8 (roughly) price tag. The fish was good and the batter was done well. The accompanying sauce/dip and salad were both good as well. The main issue was portion size for me, especially as I see whitebait as a cheap option in normal restaurants.I had the rib-eye steak at £30 (roughly) and ordered it blue. Something that is always risky in my experience, but the chef did it to perfection. I think it is the best blue steak I have had in all of the Bournemouth area. The garlic butter was divine and the chips and onion rings were well prepared. The grilled tomatoes were very good, I must say.Over all, the food was absolutely exceptional and the service was absolutely on point!Except for the price and size of the whitebait and the service making me feel a tiny bit awkward for being alone, I would have given 5* across the board.The place is quite pricey, for me alone with just a starter, main and two drinks plus the tip came to £70. However, the steak was so good that I would still recommend it if you are able to afford it.

The food is absolutely amazing!!!I'm always dubious about steak houses as so many are just average. But this place is on another level.Restaurant itself is small, staff are welcoming and pay just the right level of attention from start to finishWe had the chateaubriand, which was absolutely perfect, all the trimmings were deliciousDon't skip dessert, worry about the calories another dayWill definitely be returning

Quaint place with excellent food and great service. Only thing that dampened the experience was a particularly loud customer. Immediately felt more pleasant once they left. I wish the staff could have asked them to be quieter because they were clearly ruining the experience for everyone else present.

Amazing 5 stars for all. Food excellent. Staff are very friendly. Steak was some of the best we've ever had. 2 courses and a bottle of red just over £70. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend booking a table.

With the exception of the potato skins being undercooked, everything else from our table was perfect, service was amazing and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and close bit without being shoulder to shoulder with others. Definitely will go again.

This is one of the best steak restaurants for all the right reasons; steaks were cooked to perfection, good selection of other options are available including a Premium 10oz Burger, seafood tagliatelle & a great vegetable Lasagne.There are also very well blended cocktails and well presented starters.The Fillet steak Stroganoff was amazingand to bring this all together were the staff, first class throughout.Highly recommend
