Fantastic service, really can't fault the lady of the house, she looked after all 9 of us, breakfast was amazing. Thank you so much.Would stay again and Highly recommend to anyone.

What a find! Booked via a Wowcher deal, so we weren't expecting it to be amazing. How wrong we were!! The hotel is situated in a gloriously peaceful location, yet just a 10/15 minute drive from various areas of interest.The hotel itself, although maybe a little dated in terms of decor, was immaculately clean and well presented. A lovely warm and inviting bar area, with incredibly reasonable prices for the drinks.We ate there on both nights of our stay and, without doubt, it was some of the best food we'd ever eaten....Freshly prepared, delicious and very reasonably. My Partner actually went as far as to say that the chicken dish she'd had was probably the best thing I've ever eaten!"Friday night was steak night

A lovely old farmhouse converted into a small run family hotel.Friendly prompt service at the bar and when dining.Food was excellent value for money and plenty of choice.Will definitely visit again.Handy for silloth and a small coastal walk.Also less than an hour from Keswick.Much cheaper than hotels in the lake District area.

Had 1 night here in campervan with EHU, nice little site with a few grass pitches. Facilities of hotel available bar and restaurant, toilets only available until bar closes. Only fresh water available for pitches, no grey or black waste.

Stayed at wheyrigg Hall Hotel on the 8th and 9th September, we were warmly greeted by Chelsea (im sure that was her name) and made extremely welcome. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, great food, breakfast was just divine. Clean overall. Comfortable rooms and all staff extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here. Spent my anniversary here this weekend, got back today morning.Staff were kind, polite and welcoming.Room was clean and tidy, no smell and no issues.Dinner and breakfast was great, nice tasting food.

Large rooms, beds comfy, however walls very thin, which is reflected in low room rate. Attracts workmen and other noisy groups, so sleep can get disturbed in the early hours and at night after drinking sprees. Good breakfast and restaurant very popular.

Have been going for Sunday Lunch recently.Lovely food especially the desserts Yummee! Very pleasant service..Always a warm reception. Spacious dining areas. Plenty of Parking Space. Slope up to entrance makes easy access for disabled.Very clean toilets.

I cant really comment on the rooms as I was there for a meal only. Food was absolutely gorgeous. I personally think the decor is a little dated but you don't go to look at the walls really.

Hosted a small family function, food was a hot / buffet that was prepared on site and was superb. Recommended for functions and I've eaten there before for a Sunday lunch and that was great too.
