This jewellers was actually recommended to me by an employee from a major jewellery retailer, and I have genuinely never looked to anyone else to mend jewellery, clean jewellery, and buy beautiful new pieces and even second-hand pieces. The only time I ever had an issue and a piece of jewellery I’d bought broke, the employees were so so lovely and helped me to exchange it for a new beautiful piece. Prices are also extremely reasonable! Thank you again

Nearly 20 years ago, a ring was crafted at this store - a gift from my mother to my father. A gold ring with a small stone embedded. When he had gone in to be sized up, he commented on how he never knew how they'd get something his size.20 years on, he passed away in 2020 with the ring still on his finger.The ring was taken back to the store to be reworked for myself; I asked for the likeness to be kept, even though the changes that had to be made were pretty major to get it to my size.20 years on, it still looks the same, just fit for me now. Very happy with the end result.

I popped in today to have a ring cut off that had been uncomfortable to wear , the nice lady didn’t charge me , I will return as soon as my finger is less puffy to get it re sized , lovely staff , very helpful

Went to P J Steel to have a watch repaired it was repaired immediately while I waited at what I thought was an extremely reasonable price. Friendly helpful staff. Will definitely recommend and use again, thank you for a wonderful service.

Picked up a bargain from here today....A beautiful 1 Ounce Silver Britannia Bullion Coin 2017....over 33% Cheaper than bullion by post! The lady was so polite and helpful. If you read this mam, thank you very much. I highly recommend this retailer.

I recently received a gift from my boyfriend of a double set of Lotus Pearls. P J Steel took on the task of making them longer by meticulously matching the pearls in colour and size. The lady restrung them and went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. I loved the gift. Thank you so much for all your efforts at P J Steel. A Jeweller with a heart. Had engagement and eternity rings made bigger and new stone in engagement ring. Tears of joy when I picked them up, the rings mean so much to me and I can finally wear them again. The lady who served me (sorry, don’t know her name) had remembered my name from when I took the rings in. Can’t praise P.J. Steel enough, would recommend them for their care and workmanship.
