Good atmosphere and a wide range of drinks. Plenty of screens and separate areas. Loads of students, but hey, even at my age that's a good thing.

Packed all day long waiting for the cricket to start.Great selection of beers, friendly staff, fantastic.Oh, and if the BBQ is on, grab a burger, absolutely fantastic.

Great Christmas dinner - super tasty and everything cooked to perfection. They'd even set the table with tablecloth and crackers for our meal. Staff were lovely and the whole experience was above and beyond my expectations! Would definitely come again.

Lovely pub with good atmosphere pre cricket. Due to being busy, huge wait till food arrived. Other than that, great place to spend a couple of hours

I was here on a sophisticated business trip with my partner, and to my surprise the bread that was served was covered in mould!! I will not be returning to this establishment, as I am afraid I will die of the plague. This whole experience has been an abomination, what was supposed to be a quiet meeting, nearly turned into a hospital trip!

Amazing service led by example by 2 very competent professional managers whose influence rubs off on the staff. Regardless of how busy they are they all the staff are very calm and respectfully.You are always made welcome regardles of whether you are a regular or first time customer. Being ex forces and served all over the UK this is definately amongst My 3 favourite pubs I have been in

It's a spacious yet standard inner city pub. Greene King brewery affiliated, there's a large bar, sports and a large selection of beers (though my cask ale was slightly off I suspect). It'll be busy if the sports on. Sadly beyond this I'd call it nondescript, it lacks character but is a good place to watch the football with a pint.

Went here for a Sunday Roast and it was lovely. The wait time was really long which was surprising but the staff apologised, while the wait was more than expected, the food was absolutely lush. Much better value for money than you'd expect. Don't get me started on the gravy. If they had someones Nan in the kitchen it wouldn't surprise me because it was just that good.
