Lagan Dental Care

I have used this practice for years, even before Ms. Lagan and her partner became the people running it because of the calming and reassuring manner of its female partner Mrs. Joanne Lagan and the predominantly female staff who make me feel safe and cared for, before during and after all dental procedures.Instead of fear and dread as much as is possible, the thought of attending this practice is in all ways a pleasurable and reassuring thought and practice. It’s clean, it’s well run and it’s the only place I’d go to if I had a single issue with my teeth and I do regularly.I have spent my life being deathly scared of dentistry ( I blame brutal care as a kid) and until she became my dentist, I had spent a lot of money to be sedated for certain procedures before I could tolerate anyone doing anything to the inside of my mouth, even being in the chair caused me grief in the past.I am fortunate this practice is 5 mins away from where I live too so when my teeth started to fall to pieces after chemo it was an easy walk and so I joined this practice as an NHS patient.Over the last 8 years ( I am in remission from cancer) or so Ms. J Lagan has changed my mind about dentists and dental care.She and her staff as a result of their calm and professional manner, expertise in dentistry and before any care I was reassured I was in charge of what I wanted or did not want done. They won my enduring thanks and continued relationship by talking me through my fears regarding dental care and I was finally able to have all procedures with only her and her staff support, reassurance and a local pain relief…If you are the kinda person who reads reviews and wonders, are they real, you’ve now seen one.If you are scared or anxious regarding dentists this practice will change your opinion completely.

As always, courteous and helpful staff and great dental treatment. I would highly recommend this practice.

Have been a patient here for many years now Can't speak highly enough about the team They are accomodating experienced professional and courteous a rare quality these days .The surgery is very modern and excellent standards of cleanliness are maintained between patients The calm approach by Dr Joanne puts to bed any worries you may have & good advice is always given I would have no hesitation and in fact do recommend this practice whenever the opportunity presents keep up the good work guys
