Essex Wine School

My husband was fortunate to receive a gift voucher for the Essex Wine School for his birthday and we attended the cheese and wine tasting. It was a fantastic evening with like minded people. The variety of wines was great, and I now know my favourite! Neil is extremely knowledgeable and passionate and makes the evening very informative. I would highly recommend for a great night out. We look forward to attending further tastings with Neil.

Ever had a moment where an experience voucher has resurfaced? Well, after a Wine Tasting Experience gift, given towards the end of lockdown, was rediscovered .. Neil very kindly accepted our booking.Oh, it was well worth the wait. Fine wines, magnificent venue and good food.Throughout the afternoon, our intimate group was treated to a photographic and informational journey that perfectly complemented the wines in front of us.There was much laughter and nods of approval to tastes and aromas untried.It was a wonderful experience, and thank you to Neil and everyone involved with Essex Wine School.

I had an extremely informative and generally entertaining evening tasting gins and learning about the history and production of this fine spirit. The hosts were knowledgeable, interesting and extremely engaging. I would highly recommend the Essex Wine School and their events for an evening out and perhaps especially as an interesting and unique gift option for the person/couple who has everything. Great first wine tasting experience with Neil! It was a Christmas present for a small group and we had a great evening, Neil is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wine and we all had an enjoyable evening. Beautiful wines and also lovely cheese and charcuterie to match! Will definitely be visiting again!

I purchased a wine tasting day for my father and I as a Christmas present. We had a really fine day and probably drank way too much fun but Neil kept the day interesting. We enjoyed the day course so much we booked another three 2 hour courses. We have now attended the wine and tapas evening when my son also joined us and are really looking forward to wine and chocolate next week. Well done Neil and would highly recommend this as a gift for anyone or just a pleasurable experience.

We enjoyed the wine tasting evening very much which was our 2nd visit, our first being a golden wedding anniversary present. It is a lovely way to spend an evening and very informative. It's also a great gift to receive!

We had a really excellent evening at a wine tasting. Delicious wine, Neil is really knowledgeable and engaging and clearly loves what he does. There was also a guest speaker who brought some of their own wines to try which was a great touch. We liked it so much we have booked another! Highly recommend. Thanks Neil!
