She supported us in the lead up, during and after the birth of our first child, ensuring we felt empowered, informed and confident as we embarked on the crazy journey of parenthood! Tracy was an angel and supported my husband and I through my previous birth trauma and current pregnancy. I’m not quite sure how to put into words how much Tracy has helped me through my birthing and postnatal experience. I met Tracy during my pregnancy after a life changing event and she showed me compassion, understanding and kindness. She gave me so much valuable information when writing my birth preferences and she was with me every step of the way during my sons birth when it didn’t go as expected. Tracy advocated for me when I wasn’t able to myself, talked me through my options and explained the medical jargon to me when necessary. She has played a vital role in my postnatal recovery period, always willing to listen without judgement and give great advice and resources for both me and baby. I’m honestly not sure where I would be right now if I didn’t have Tracy by my side through this time and I am so so grateful for everything she has done for me and my family. Having Tracy support us on our past partum journey was the best decision we made. As an apprehensive FTM who had undergone a tough journey to motherhood Tracys support was invaluable. Her approach is empathetic and non judgmental in a sea of overwhelming advice that exists out there in the parent sphere. She supported us with the comfort of a family member when I went through my various meltdowns, offered compassionate advice and put us in touch with organisations and help that could make our parenting experience more effective. I genuinely believe my breastfeeding journey would have been cut short had it not been for Tracy’s encouragement, which is something I will be forever grateful for. If you are in need of a birth doula, I cannot recommend anyone better than Tracy. From the second my husband and I met Tracy, we knew she was the person for us. Tracy is calm, patient, comforting and extremely understanding. She helped me come to terms with some of the anxieties I was experiencing as a result of my previous pregnancy and birth. We were recommended Tracy for postnatal support after I spoke to a friend about my desire to have a more positive breastfeeding journey with our newborn. I am SO thankful and glad we had Tracy support us in our first weeks as a fam of 4. She helped me tremendously with my breastfeeding goals - I am now happily and confidently breastfeeding, which is something I struggled with before and felt quite anxious about this time around.I had one particularly challenging night and messaged Tracy first thing in the morning and she came over straight away to help. This kind of thing made such a difference in my overall experience. She was my biggest cheerleader and her words of encouragement empowered me.Along with this, Tracy has such a positive and encouraging energy and has helped support my recovery by checking in on my physical improvement as well as mental health throughout her visits. Not to mention the countless other things she’s done, like offer advice on nutrition, exercise, scar after-care, and the many layers of newborn care. As well as play with our toddler for hrs, change nappies, make cups tea, take us out to get fresh air, and lots of chats about life!Tracy is the perfect mix of professional and mumsy. I immediately felt at ease with her after our first session when I saw how hands-on and caring she was with both newborn and toddler, treating us all like loving family.And with her 20+ years experience as a pediatric nurse, her professionalism shined through to answer any questions or perform lights checks on the baby. I initially wanted the help of a doula due to the current pressure on the NHS and a worry that my ideal pregnancy and birth would get lost in the system.​Prenatal sessions with Tracy empowered me to claim the birth I had visualised - a natural home birth. I felt informed and confident throughout my pregnancy due to her insightful guidance and continued support. She also provided information post birth which was invaluable, such as help with latching and different methods of winding- at all times far surpassing the information that the nhs was able to provide.​My partner and I had our home birth in just over 6hrs of active labour. Something I truly don’t believe would have been possible without Tracys support and guidance beforehand and during. Tracy was the best decision we made in hiring a Doula for our pregnancy journey.I had an intense fear of childbirth and was informed I had tokophobia and I felt very lost and out of control at the beginning of my pregnancy.After my first face time call with Tracy it was the first time I actually felt some confidence towards giving birth. Tracy is able to create a calm and positive environment whenever you speak to her which always made me look forward to seeing her for our hypnobirthing and antenatal classes.Tracy was our saving grace when it came to labour as I did not have the birth I completely hoped for however the birth of our daughter in the end was beautiful. Tracy advocated on my behalf to midwives and doctors throughout our labour to make sure they followed the birth plan in place, without Tracy we do not think our experience would have been as pleasant and we were so grateful to have her and her 20+ years experience as a nurse present in the labour room.It has been a great help knowing Tracy is just a text or call away especially with post natal support; helping us become confident and happy parents to our new family member.
