I can not say enough about our visit to Skye. I am not typically a person that cares for guided tours I like to get off the beaten path, but this tour was amazing. Our tour guide Gorrrrrrrrrrdon was fabulous, funny and very informative. Our group was small and Gordon took the time to cater to our personal interests..... we definitely went off the beaten path! As an official coo theif a very respectful profession take my word! Ladies.... take notice Gordon bow is untied!

Thank you for this amazing Winter Tour! I had a wonderful time exploring the Isle of Skye. We had such a beautiful sunny day. Walking to the Old Man of Storr was so worth it, this was my favourite place! Rob and Paola were really nice and told us good stories about the history of Skye and Scotland. I will definitely come back to do the Fary Dust Trail Tour! Merci encore

We took the Best of Skye Tour from Portree. The driver arbitrarily decided to skip Neist Point as he claimed that there wasn't much to see due to the rain. Yet, the sky cleared, but we still had to spend a couple of hours in the same place, without much to do but visiting the Duvengan Castle (entrance ticket not included in the tour). No alternative was offered and there was no possibility to negotiate even a view of from the van.Similarly, he decided not to stop at The Old Man of Storr, without saying anything. When we contacted the customer centre to complain and ask for partial refund, they answered in a very unpolite, unprofessional and aggressive way, conveniently claiming some safety grounds for the driver's decision not to go to Neist Point, which yet were never mentioned by the driver himself during the tour.Last but not least, the driver had an aggressive and extremely fast driving style (and we found also difficult to enjoy the landscape, because of that). And it would have actually been great to have a driver who also actually is a guide, and not someone who just says things like ok

We had the best time with our tour with Tour Skye. We took the 1 day tour from Inverness. Our day started out perfect with our wonderful tour guide Gordon, and it only got better and better from there. We saw two castles, fairy pool, Portree, and all sorts of wildlife, all while being entertained by Gordon. We learned about the history of the area and had a blast. I would highly recommend the tour (and especailly Gordon!) to anyone who wants to visit the area!

We took the 1 day tour to Skye from Inverness. We booked through Get Your Guide and didn't have any issues with the company. We would have appreciated more detailed info about the length of the stops in the tour description, but that varies based on whether or not tour participants arrive back at the bus on time. Talisker was only 30 minutes, but usually only 20!This was a great trip, but set your expectations properly. Skye is beautiful, but it takes time to get there, so the stops have to be short. Portree was crowded at the lunch stop. Bring a packed lunch if you want to have time to see the town and the colored house view point. Our guide was kind enough to bring carrots for us to feed hairy coos! None of the other tour companies we traveled with stopped to do that. He was a little crabby about tourists on the road in Skye, but he used to live on Skye, so chalk that that up to a little bit of local culture. Overall, he was informative and had a good balance of talk to quiet time.Based on the time we got back, we could have stayed at Talisker a little longer. We mentioned to our guide that we were excited about that stop, and everyone was on time getting back to the bus at previous stops, so he gave us an extra 10 minutes. Urquhart Castle was a short photo stop from the road, not up close. 1.5 hrs was plenty for me at the Fairy Pools.

Booked the Best of Skye Tour from Portree offered by Skye Tours, and it was good. Martin, our guide, did a good job herding us, informing us, and getting us to the points of destination.Couple of thoughts...I booked the tour for the opportunity to visit and see The Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, The Quiraing, and Neist Point. (Kilt Rock was closed, which was beyond the control of the tour operator.) The other sites we visited were not of interest, and visiting them did not change my mind about them.Has Skye Tours considered a tour of only Old Man, Kilt Rock, the Quiraing, and Neist Point? Is that viable? It would provide a lengthier amount of time at each of the four sites. I would have enjoyed having time to walk into the Quiraing and exploring and walking right up to Old Man, as well as more time to explore all that Neist Point had to offer. Throw in a bit longer for lunch, so it is not rushed, and along with the little stops for restroom breaks that itinerary would fill a day.

We had the pleasure of having Gordon as our guide on the Isle of Skye and Fairy Pools tour and I can’t say enough great things about it! Gorrrrrdon was brilliant, kept us entertained the entire time. He even made it his mission to find us some “hairy coos” to take pictures with; his nessy calling was sublime!Great tour with a great guide 10 out of 10!

I travel a lot and do a lot of these day tours. This day tour to Skye and various other places is definitely in my top 3. Our guide, Murdoch, is an amazing storyteller, patient, curious, and incredibly friendly (and a very good driver). What would have been a good tour turned out to be an amazing experience - all thanks to him. Make sure to find out if he works on your preferred date; I'd give 10 stars if I could.

⛔️WARNING ⛔️ Do not do business with this garbage tour agency. They treat you like rancid haggis and the drivers are angry Scots that drive like they are drunk. When calling they hung up on us twice! It’s like they hate their jobs and want to get rid of you as quickly as possible. Save your time and money and looks elsewhere.
