07.08.2023 Not as good as Anglia Square. Large toy section but smaller clothing section. Not as many foods to buy. Some shelves half empty.

They are good for some of their items but i wouldn't call them poundland as not everything's a pound and some items don't last long

customer service is awful my 2 year old got ran over by a forklift food was all green and out of date everytbijg is not a pound don’t believe everything you hear and then to top it off the other fellow customer started a scrap with my husband. all the product unforntuanly made my toddler pass away from salmonella. smashing place grandkids loved it .!!!

Excellent for things like bug repellent, cleaning detergents. I get my exacto knives here and Epoxy resin for light repairs. Their all handy stores but this particular one was one of the best examples I have seen yet.

Good selection but not as big as the one in Anglia square, cheap stuff although most stuff is not £1.00. Staff told me and my friend to stop and she said stop this is not a playground" but we were just walking fast."

Reasonable selection of products, although contrary to it's name, not everything is a pound! That said most of the products are ok for the price. This store has recently started selling frozen food. I would urge caution on buying some of these until their quality can be assured. Bought a large bag of frozen Pangasius fish fillets. I cooked one for my tea, looking forward to it, as I eat a lot of fish. It was disgusting and inedible, tasting of nothing but SALT!!! It's texture was also not nice. AVOID!!!!!!

Out of hibernation April 2021: this store is now openGood store in city centre near to wilko, chapel field entrance etc with usually friendly and helpful staff. They have a lot of stock but it tends to be quite busy in here so shelves can look rather messy later in the day. The stock goes quite quickly if popular so if I see something new that I like I tend to get it as they don’t often have it in stock for very long, especially if in their seasonal aisles. The store is spacious and easy to get around. There is a few self service tills as well as manned tills.

This is still a good place. Beware you get what you pay for, The cheap - alike chocolates aren't (they just aren't ok?), and while everyones skint I would have appreciated it if the everthing still cost a pound (but hay, right)... So it's not got a great many available staff for directions and stuff. Basically:- OK, and value for money...
