Nice polite and the car drives lovely, had a mare with phone numbers in the end as I came through autotrader for the car.They couldnt be more happy to sort out the paper work needed via DVLA and invoices.Thank You very much for responding to me so quickly.Would recommend buying a car from these guys.

Collected my car from Shift this afternoon.The whole process has been seamless. I contacted the garage through Auto Trader on Saturday after finding the car. I received a call within 5 minutes of submitting the request. A video call was made about 45 minutes later for me to see the car, as I live 300 miles north of the garage.On the video it was immaculate, and it was even more impressive when I saw it today!I have to say, I’ve bought cars from independent garages in the past and never has it ever been as good as this! Customer service is 5*!The car is a dream, and the 300 mile trip back to Newcastle was made all the more easy because of how good the car is!!Thank you!! I will be sure to recommend you to friends and family!!

I bought a Vauxhall mokka from swiftTo start with all was great. Great service amazing atmosphere couldn’t fault them. Once the car was in my possession that’s where it all went wrong.1st my head gasket wasn’t fitted correctly that they claimed was fitted and that’s what the wait was for me to collect my car.Once this was fixed the turbo pipe came off + loose wiring. Granted they did send somebody to come out straight away to fix it.4 months down the line my head gasket has gone again. You have claimed it shouldn’t have gone but it has leading to water and oil in my engine. I now have a 3 week wait to even hear if it’s repairable, and I dread to think what the cost will be. With the warranty they will be some sort of charge to me.FYI the warranty try finding a mechanic that works for less than £60 an hour labour.

1 - They will tell you that the vehicle is thoroughly checked and fully serviced. This is not the case.2 - They will sell you a 2 year extended warranty with a max of 4 claims. But fail to tell you that they have not checked the vehicle before sale. If there are issues with the vehicle from day 1 you will need to claim on that policy (25% of claims used in the first week). Of further note - the warranty only covers £60/hour inclusive of VAT. Most garages charge a lot more than this i.e. BMW £150/hour. Also most garages charge around £50 for dealing with a warranty company which is part of the process.3 - They will tell you that any advisories on the MOT will be fixed as a condition of the vehicle being accepted into warranty and then not do them.4 - If they receive a parking ticket leading up to the day of sale they will just put it in the glove box5 - They will tell you that the vehicle will under go a full bodywork inspection and any issues rectified. When arriving they will play down any dents saying that it is a used vehicle.6 - They will provide no level of customer care when issues are discovered telling you to prove it.7 - They will not check for locking wheel nuts and replace if missing leaving a nasty surprise when it come to needing a new tyre.In summary they are happy for vehicles to be driven away that are not fit for purpose ignoring their own obligations and relying on a third party warranty. There is no concern displayed for the customer and they play everything down.PS have a look at the response from Shift Automotive to this review. Full of lies, defensive, disrespectful and shows complete lack of customer care. I recommend that any potential customer thinks very carefully about doing business with Shift Automotive.

Just got home from collecting my new car. I don’t usually write reviews but felt I had to in this instance. From my initial phone call regarding the car to collecting today the service I have received has been brilliant. The team at Shift have been fantastic and kept me up to date throughout and also been very understanding with me having to change my appointments a few times! Thanks guys, would definitely recommend!

I bought a BMW 1 series from Gary during January this year and the car still drives great because it had very low mileage for it's age but what I regret buying car from him is very bad customer service from shift automotive. Also please please take a complete look of the car because my car vibrates when engine start and stops which I couldn't notice when I took the car because Gary didn't even hand over the key to customer Till money is payed. I have not received my car purchase invoice till date and I called him more than 5 times. Initially he told me every time was it would be send in post but later he declared this invoice is not needed. It's not him to decide whether I need or not and one more thing there was a small patch in the car front door which was covered somehow and when I did my first water wash it came off eventually but he sold this car to me claiming it had zero scratches. I will not recommend any one fall into trap by hearing welcoming response before purchase and ignoring answers post purchase. I write this review very late to make aware of everyone about it
