Lovely lunch here, only just reopening after Covid-19 and would definitely recommend. The staff were friendly, attentive, welcoming and very helpful.The food was absolutely lovely. Relaxed, unpretentious and unassuming. Decor a little dated, but if you choose restaurants for their food and you want a change from the usual mainstream chains give these guys a try. They're aiming to use seasonal produce which is a winner for me.I chose Whitebait starter and Scollops from their specials board.

First time been in here situated on the main road just on corner of entrance for Gloucester Quays.. Was really busy got pool table.. Got plenty of seating inside and outside.. They do food which is reasonably priced having looked at menu, but we didn't eat. Drinks reasonably priced also.. Would go again

UPDATE: new chef! Mr Yip has taken over the kitchen (Wed-Sat) and has brought in a delicious menu with his own signature of oriental deliciousness. Ramen and burger were excellent. We'll be back to try the rest.Under new management. Excellent food and service. Local talent entertained us, whilst we enjoyed a pub atmosphere.

New year … new start … The Sunday Roasts at the Ship are back and my goodness they are back with a bang!!! Dom’s re started the food at The Ship with spectacular style - already booked us all in for next Sunday! well seasoned, beautifully cooked meat, and the perfect Yorkshire pudding. Best roast in Gloucester by far!

Chef Dom bringing in a Sunday roast dinner to remember at the Tall Ship.All cooked to perfection, the beef I had melts in mouth. The roast potatoes and parsnip crispy coated and soft inside. Season trio of vegetables, including creamy leek of goodness topped off with a yorkshire pudding and a delicious gravy. Accompanied with a homemade mustard.Has to be, by far the best roast dinner I've had for a long time. Cant knock anything. Will go as far as being better than my mother's roast.

Was here for a Bitcoin meetup the other day. Nice well decorated local pub, good selection of drinks, and yes they accept Bitcoin payments too!

I've been here a few times so far and the food is amazing. They serve lobster/crab and plenty of other dishes if you're not keen on seafood. The food is really fresh and served to a high standard and there's a good selection of drinks too.It's never been too busy either. The pub doesn't look like anything special but it's in a good location and the food/drinks make up for it. There's also an outdoor area.

We felt we were warmly welcomed by the staff who were plight and helpful. They had a good list on the special board and an amazing every day menu. The Tall Ship was well decorated and clean. The food was all freshly prepared and was nicely presented. We only went as it was my birthday and we were visiting the area but we will definitely be back to try more amazing food

Always a good pint of Guinness and decent tunes playing here. Friendly and welcoming staff. There is a pool table too!!
