Coven Barnsley

I've had my hair done here by Lady Luck Hair, absolutely fantastic service and a great price. Chloe is a very talented lady who is also very friendly and helpful. I've also had tattoos here by Bronte and Dozy who are both extremely talented, knowledgeable and give great customer service. Recently I've also had my nose and daith pierced, brilliant service, great price and fantastic aftercare advice. There's also a little coffee shop in front with a great atmosphere and a variety of hot and cold drinks. Also the cookies are to die for!

I’ve just been and had a delicious iced matcha tea , with great service from Bekki, then had two piercing done by Emily who made me feel so comfortable, she was very knowledgeable.I look forward to going back to get more of the piercings I want.

This place is the best. Welcoming and accepting, I travel from Manchester just to visit this wonderful place. Brontë’s tattoos are the best and the coffee is wonderful. Coming back for a jewellery consultation too!

Fabulous service! I had a tattoo and have been visiting the coffee shop. Tattooist was professional and has excellent talent. The coffee shop is lovely. Fair prices, excellent cookies and muffins!The tattoo area and coffee shop are very clean, would highly recommended

Coven is such a wonderfully inclusive place with delicious coffee and tasty cakes! (Including a vegan option).Dozy did the most beautiful reworking of a tattoo for me and it was so chill and calm in the room. Also the decor throughout is worth a visit! So much incredible art.

Been in a few times for some tattoos from Brontë and a coffee or two and everyone is so lovely and welcoming and the shop is so cool and vibey. Couldn’t name a better place in Barnsley to visit. Will definitely be back for another tattoo and to see what else is there to offer!

I had a squirrel tattoo from Dozy Tattoo and I love it, Dozy’s work is well designed and her studio is clean. The whole coven shop is bright, colourful, and welcoming, I will be calling in for a coffee and more tattoos soon!

I was so nervous to go since I hadn't been to a real hairdressers in years and whenever I went the person cutting my hair would change the style slightly to feminise it or to make it less alternative, but here I got exactly what I wanted! Everyone I met did whatever they could to make me feel comfortable whilst I was there, and I honestly have never talked as much to a hairdresser in my life! I loved every second of it and I'm 100% certain I'll be going back often whether its for haircuts, tattoos, piercings, or just to hang out in the cafe. All the staff are so welcoming and I couldn't name a single place that is better to go to <3
