Rude and unhelpful!! I called regarding my nephews bike, he has no interest at all as its a cheap bike. I personally ride a 4k bike and will never use this company again.... small minded!!

A really good bike shop with plenty of cheerful advice and competitive prices. I've just bought a mid range road bike from Vale cycles and I couldn't be more pleased, Undoubtedly the best cycle shop in the Vale - and I have been to them all!

My Kona snapped a rear derailleur just as Covid restrictions came into effect so it hung in my garage for over a year. Last week, I was able to get a bike voucher and called Vale Cycles, expecting them to say they're overloaded and anticipating a long wait. To my surprise, I was invited to bring it in at my convenience, voucher welcome. Paul was most pleasant, knowledgeable, accommodating, and quick. Job done in one day, including additional problem areas spotted and corrected, and at a very fair price. Again proves the advantage of dealing with independent local business people who have proven their worth over years of serving their community. First class service from a first class guy.

I visited this shop on3 separate occasions. The first time was to get my di2 setup checked out as the battery kept going flat. I was told electronic group sets were not fit for purpose and they couldn’t do the job. 2nd visit when I enquired into their mechanic doing a tubeless tyre conversion/setup. I was told they can cause too much hassle and I should stick to inner tubes. 3rd occasion I purchased a pair of tyre levers. They broke on first use. This shop and the owner are not moving withe times and cannot due the job. Rubbish.

I took my road bike here about eight/ten years ago to get the pedal crank bearings sorted out and tightened. They are still wobble-free after a huge amount of hard hill-climbing since then. The price was only about twenty quid which was very reasonable considering it restored the bike to perfect working order.I'm very surprised by the few negatives. One of them particularly. If you can pull the race card that easily I strongly suspect you've got a chip on your shoulder to start with.I'm back to get the phone number as I have another job that needs doing.

Bought bike in for puncture repair last wed, excellent price at £12 and also finetuned breaks etc, great service, highly recommended

I have been struggling to find a good bike repairer but now I have succeeded. Friendly and helpful advice. I had two bike repaired and I am very pleased with both jobs: good quality work at a fair price. Highly recommended.
