The Centre of Horseback Combat

I attended the Rider Confidence Course - not because I lacked confidence in my riding but because I know horses can be unpredictable. I would rather be prepared and know what to do if I had a problem to deal with.I had the most amazing day. Karl and Zana are super positive and explained the psychology behind riders' losing their confidence and the importance of bite size steps to reach your goals.We did lots of practical work on balance, how to stay on a rearing horse and do a safe emergency exit. It was a fun-filled day with lots of humour and interesting stories. I felt completely safe at all time and left feeling even more confident in my riding. This course is highly recommended - anyone who rides horses would benefit from attending this course. I am so glad that I did! Thank you Karl and Zana for an incredible experience and for sharing your wonderful advice and skills.

It is very rare for me to write a review, but this place really deserves it. I had an amazing timing this weekend in the horseback archery full day course. Zana, Karl, the team and the horses were amazing : ) It was my first time there and I went alone, but was warmly welcome in their amazing historic setting, and had a great experience, fun and exciting day. I had done horseback archery in America before, but many things distinguished the experience here: there were just 6 participants in the course, and same number of staff, so we were given many runs at the targets, and got a lot of personalized attention and instruction. The historical setting is amazing. Karl and Zana are super experts in the field. They clearly cared about everyone’s experience and happiness. The easy access from London is also very convenient. A true treasure. I am looking forward to going back very soon!

Attended a horse confidence course with Karl and Lana which teaches you how to deal with a bolting, bucking or rearing horse, how to fall properly and loads more. Brilliant.

Amazing experience and wonderful people. The surrounding are exceptional and enjoyed every second.

Zana and Karl have been super friendly and welcoming. They are fantastic instructor and I fully enjoyed my half day horseback archery course. Will definitely go again!

Great fun day out, knowledge and encouraging instructors. Was there to take pics myself, those doing the Horseback Archery had a great time and all did great as well as having an amazing time.
