Use this as my local tip. Always really helpful staff. Today somehow managed to lose my wedding ring in one of the skips but one of the staff helped me find it. Absolute hero to save me from a massive telling off from the misses!

The team here are delightful and cheery, helpful and informed.

The site is still working on advanced slot bookings as of 04/08/21. You have to book a slot via the website, and you get given a 15min window to arrive. I found this booking process very simple and straight forward. I arrived a few minutes after my slot started. There was only one visible member of staff upon arrival but they were very helpful and polite, they checked my booking quickly and asked what I had brought and advised me to where I needed to go. With Covid restrictions, there were only four bays to park in the main area, but given the slot booking system it meant that arrivals were controlled anyway. 15mins was more than enough time needed and I found the process overall incredibly simple and efficient - I kind of hope they keep it going forward to prevent the free for all that it used to be.The items they can take are listed on the gov website, but it'd be handy if there were some sort of site map so I have a bit of a rough idea before visiting where I need to be going - it isn't a large site, but I do feel like every time I visit I have to walk around figuring out what goes where.

I used their services for the first time the other week and had a very smooth experience. It was a straightforward process to book a slot online. On the day, staff were friendly and helpful in directing me around the site and advising me of what type of items to put in which bins.

Went today 2.10.22. The two guys who were working here were so helpful. The place is clean and tidy.

Good place to get rid of that household stuff you no longer need. If you've not used it in over a year get rid and stop hoarding.The social distancing works well and managed professionally.Also, they will not allow you to WALK IN on site. You have to be in a vehicle.

Great place to get rid of unwanted items that can't go to the charity shop. All electric products are recycled as are many other items.

A big thank you to Jackie, Gary and Andy who helped me get my car keys from the side of the skip as I was a total fool that dropped them! Great guys and extremely responsive.

Well organised, less cramped than the Middleton site.
