Marsh View Fishery

Nice quite place to fish. Can get a bit windy being next to river. 6 to 8 people can fish at any one time with 12 swims to choose from. Swims and lake well kept.

Nice little vista nearby the Burgh Roman fort. Beautiful horizon. Will have to pop by during the summertime, though!

can be a very slow lake but if ya patient and stick at it the rewards are good nice size fish in there got my pb out from there last night good size breem just have no scales so no weight for ya highly recommend this lake for the peace and great views at sunset. love it will be going every chance i get thank you gorleston tackle shop for the tips and for the pleasure of fishing youre lake.kind regards lee

Lovely relaxing fishing trip Lake right beside broads peaceful and some lovely fish

The area around the course lake needs to be tidied and flotsome removed from the water.Several floats were caut in the reeded areas with the line attached, so they presumably had hooks attached hope no fish were attached.

Absolutely love this lake, never blanked here, good head of silver fish and perch. Many carp too with a few in double figures!The guys at gorleston tackle are always helpful and willing to help!Definitely a lake to fish at ♥

We'll set out fisheries, swims are some of the best I seen on private lakes. Can be a bit open to the elements but heyho just dress for the occasion.

A superb location and a very well appointed fishery. Great value for money and a brilliant day's fishing. The lovely, friendly people fishing nearby (Sandra and Adrian) were extremely generous towards my young son which made for a wonderful experience. Special thanks to the very helpful chaps in Gorleston Tackle Centre whose impressive expertise and local knowledge was invaluable for making the most of the day. Thank you.

Fished 'the narrows peg and caught with red maggot two nice sized carp in perfect condition. Then fished 'the willow' and caught couple of gorgeous small silvers. Since gorlston tackle shop took this over they have reduced the swims from 31 down to 12. The pegs are fantastic and large easily to set up 2 rods for children. All under 16's fish for free which is great for getting children into the hobby. The gate is locked and you need to get your ticket and gate code from the shop before you fish. It's an awesome location great looking fishery. Yes it has got a bit of weed around the place but they've only had it 5-6 months and they have lots of plans to improve it. Next time I'm back down here I'm definitely fishing this great place again."
